Tristyn, why do you lift so light?

  1. Would you say you have poor peck genetics or is that an expected amount of size in comparison to the rest of your physique due to how lean you are? Asking because we have similar development. Great physique btw. Been watching for years. Your development and dedication to maintaining leanness is exemplary.

  2. them big ass hands dont fool anyone. Prolly took a shit ton of growth hormone for his height and took advantage of that to build muscles

  3. And being 15 reps away from failure builds muscle? I do 8-12 to failure and im seeing results if you are not blasting steroids try to stay to 12 reps to failure or 1-2 reps away no more than 12 reps because its useless

  4. His muscle is achievable not sure why most envy just because they love slacking off eat ultra process and ego lifting seeing almost no results.

If his on trens/roids that would be the shittiest result because of lacking of growth at his body part.
Its still achievable of y'all didn't eat snack, do more cardio, sleep early, eat less or clean and train medium heavy

  5. Lifting heavy doesn’t mean bad form.
Also just because its small doesnt mean you need to train it light. Your forearms and jaw muscles are small but very strong for example, if you were to train them in the low rep range (which is completely fine) you would need a heavy load.
Yeah you can train your biceps with lightweight and high reps but you can do that with literally any muscle, if youre willing to do 1000 reps of bodyweight squats in a set yes your quads are going to grow but we can all agree that would be stupid.

  6. There's a difference between usesable and visable muscles this training is for the latter whereas progressive over load is for both.

  7. As long as you approach failure any style of training works but i think theres some good things about “ego lifting” that people overlook because people who train in that style have horrible form and can injure themselves but with good form training hard really improves gains. and time under tension is bullcrap you really only need to control the negative for atleast a second and its good as controlling it for 7

  8. i strict curl 45s with my back and butt against the wall for perfect form this is not ego this is better hypertrophy with a greater and tenser load than going light

  9. Did some of y’all even watch the video or just come to the comments to complain about him on roids? And he isn’t lying. It’s a real thing. Look it up 😂

  10. So essentially:

    1) We are making an exercise more difficult (with an incredible ammount of controll) just for a form issue that could be resolved simply with a better technique (or going on a preacher bench)

    2) We cant progressive overload and we are condemning our tendons to stay weak when our muscles are getting stronger, meaning that its pretty sure we will injury ourself in the future

Guys, learn how to move heavywheights and thats it. We are literally removing "weight" from "weight lifting"

  11. I partially disagree. Everybody has different and unique body types, genetics and muscle insertions. Some biceps respond to heavy compound lifts eg heavy curl with terrible form while others are like you, lesser weights but high reps. Meanwhile some require both. As long as you’re training with the right intensity, form and technique, the amounts of weight you use does not matter. Bottom line, to each his own

  12. just use the highest weight you can with good form, thats it. or maybe like 5 pounds less than the most you can do with good form, so you can really control it. I dont lift weights too much but usually 20-25lb dumbbells are great for me. Idk how people claim they do 80 pounds or 60 even. I guess if ur massive and do curls a lot but curls are the most boring exercise imo.

  13. Curling like a powerlifter will get you huge biceps, TUT and low weight, and control won't matter if you're curling 135, your body will naturally move because it's a big weight.
