Jared Davidson is a beaut. I’ve been LOVING the team’s interest in 19-year-old draft picks in later rounds.
If Joshua Roy hasn’t figured out the “I have to work hard” part yet . . . Bye bye.
About Florian: not only the development of his game but also the development of his body. Unless he's put on weight this summer, isn't he a little slender?
This pre season will matter very little the only guy with a legit chance to make the team is Reinbacher and imo that idea has already been established by coach and management. So what players do how good they look won't matter they are all going back to their junior /college teams.
I will be interested to see what lines they are planning.IMO they really shouldn't be wasting time with players who they know are not going to be on the team it is pointless.
Work on your lines you hope to go into the season with and iron out thinking mistakes there will be lot's of them.
📯 3 more episodes this week and then I'm taking a week off for the 1st time since November. Back with fresh content August 11📯
I see Florian as third line player but wouldn't be surprised to see him squeezed into the second line at times fitting in nicely
What about a third line of Bolduc Paupanekis and Florian in the future.
Marco should have a job in an nhl organization! Very very good puck knowledge and understanding of the game and business!
I think you are right, Florian will be the surprise that is not a surprise. And once he earns a spot, he may be a whole other surprise. I am not putting him in the same skill category as Bardy Tkachuk, but that type of bang and crash forward with a great shot that can convert on the chances he gets.
Who do you see more as that Gally replacement, Farrel or Mooney? I'm going with Mooney.
If his style is anything at all like say Brian Skrudland and hen bring him up.
If any of these prospects magically becomes 18 year old Mario Armia on the PK, we have all won in life. Sprinkle in a little Paul Byron finish and we’re in it to win it.
I would rather see the players develop than rush them like KK.
Great channel Shaun, you and Marco are great. This was a rehash of info. Is there any way you guys could do a mock trade video? Thanks!
You talk about the Habs having made mistakes bringing up players too soon. Do you think that Slaf would’ve benefitted from some time in Laval before coming up to the Habs?
Lol i just checked and i understand why people said something. WHY would you say pezzeta was a point per game player???
The issue with Florian is the same with Beck and Kapanen: do they want them to be centers hence need to play at center? They should be developing at center in Laval and if Dach and/or Veleno fail then bring them up.
Roy is done imo. Farrel is too small and not truculent enough to play in the bottom six. Davidson is the guy who can make it because he's doing what they would want him to do here in the bottom six. Anyway they still have too many forwards here with Gally+Andy still here.
I vote to make the "KotkaMete paradigm" an official term.
Enjoy your time off!
I see Davidson making a push real soon. I see a Bulduc in him.
