Kris talks to the media about eliminating the Stars in the Western Conference Final on Thursday with a 6-3 victory in Game 5 at American Airlines Center.
The efficiency of these series wins should tell you something about how different the team is this post season. There may not even be a game 7 in the finals. Oilers in 5 or 6.
Congratulations, Oilers!!! 💙🧡💙🧡💙 I didn't get to watch the game 'cause I had to prepare for a meeting tomorrow… 😭 But, I'm gonna unwind tonight by watching it while I do my skincare and paint my nails 👳♀️💅 OMG I'm so happy y'all did it!! 💖
Knobbers, 2 time Western Conference Champ team in his first 2 years in the NHL. Man, it looked like they were going back to their old ways at 3-2 and 4-3, but glad they locked it down after the third goal.
Kris Knoblauch coming into the league as a noob and going to back to back Stanley Cup Finals will be talked about for decades in Edmonton. What a coach!
That Panthers team is going to be tough. Oiler's definitely going in as underdogs. Panthers just having their way with teams in the east. Oiler's have won their series this year by a decent margin but those game were closer than they appear on paper.
Inserting Ekholm and Skinner into the line up helped placate me a little. The loss of Zach Hyman was devastating, but the Oilers are firing on all cylinders. Going to be a great match up against Florida. The cup is coming home to Canada!
He says playoffs are low scoring. Yet his team has scored more in the Playoffs than in the regular seasons. The guy is a phenomenal coach and also a master of misdirection.
I feel that last year playoffs oilers had a hard time when other teams were within a goal and pushing hard. This year with the 3rd & 4th lines scoring big goals it seems teams just can't keep up.
Coach KNOBS Is 😛The 'BEST' Coach We💪 Ever Had Besides GLEN SATHER!!! Had To Pick Them But This Is Gonna Be Our Started Glory Days Here In OIL💙🧡🤍 Country! Wow, Unheard Of Eh Year In Eh Half In? Destiny And Calm Coach! He Makes It Hockey Chill Good Intense Fun And Stress Free!!! We WANT Our 🏆2025!
"Y'know we talked about this before going into the playoffs towards the end of the regular season. You had so many guys out injured, you didn't know what your lineup was going to look like, you didn't know what your pairings were going to gelalelaloliakelike…"
Panthers with the physicality it’s gona be another close one ☝️ but panthers in 6… Conner stops when it comes to physical heavy hitting hockey Even Macavoy ALONE stopped him at the 4 nations Panthers repeat
Turning point of the LA series: Byfield failing to clear. To me, this was bigger than “the challenge”.
Turning point of the Vegas series: the fact that 0.4 WASN’T the turning point of that series.
Turning point of the Dallas series: The “look” from Connor and Leon at the end of game one. I feel like Vegas did a pretty good job of neutralizing them in round two, but after that look it was like they said “time for us to step up”.
Imagine just almost 2 years ago when the Oilers hired him by replacing Woodcroft that many called the move as "nepotism hiring", now all of those voices are completely disappeared after two straight Stanley Cup Finals. Woodcroft was a good coach but he was never a great hockey tactician as Knoblauch right now.
Corey Perry was a First Line Player with Getzlaf- So I am happy he is doing so well on the top lines, and Kane put up a Goal Last night. The back lines, with Janmark, Ardvisson, putting on pressure, they can roll those lines and not exhaust the top lines either. Coach talks good of Stars also, that is class.

Impressive what he's accomplished with this team. 4 to go, and we won't take no for an answer this year. Let's go boys!
Congratulations Edmonton on winning the Stanley Cup. You should start planning the cup parade.

I really wish someone could of did an interview with Jeff skinner would of been nice to see what he says about his first ever playoff goal
Best coach in the nhl
Congrats oilers.!! 4 more wins 😍
Knobber won the WHL w Kootenay Ice, the OHL with Erie Otters and soon the NHL with the Oilers. The man knows how to win.
Job's not finished, Knobs. You've outcoached every opponent, the next one is the hardest. 4 to go
He says playoffs are low scoring. Yet his team has scored more in the Playoffs than in the regular seasons. The guy is a phenomenal coach and also a master of misdirection.
What I dnt understand is why the hell this coach hasn’t won coach of the year can someone explain that
Give this man the Jack Adams Award already – he displayed great management all season long

Top 5 coach right here
Let’s go oilers let’s go!!! I believe baby play labamba
LA was the hardest out for the oilers confirmed by Knobby.
The better deeper Team behind Connor and Leon is the different to last year for the Oilers

Paul Maurice has so much more NHL experience 😅

The oilers are 12-2 in their last 14 playoff games. WAGON.

It takes a team to win not just 2 players and that's why they won the whole team.
I’ve said it the whole playoffs
Knoblauch has been the secret weapon for Edmonton
Now this is low-key, understated and a quietly confident. Not the meandering diatribes of Maurice….

I wasn’t really sure about Kris when he first came to Edmonton BUT now I can’t imagine anyone but him coaching these guys!! He just so chill!!♥️♥️
This man waits for 4 soft goals before pulling his starter.
No lack of confidence! Self preservation! Plots and subplots 😮 Canada 🇨🇦 🍁
I thought the Knob was thick. I was wrong. The Knob was just right ❤️
Like his style. He is a great coach.
Its now that can he take them to win the Cup.
Just don' t try bully Panthers like you did for Stars. You bullied well soft Stars.
Panthers have a different response.
Coming home is our Stanley Cup 2024/2025
Meticulous 🏒 hockey players of Oilers
So meticulous couch Kris of Oilers
Go get em win…s❤
