    People don't know hockey very well if you think Slafkovsky is good.He doesn't know where to go on the ice he just skates around like it's a game of shimmy always puck watching never looking around.When he hustles back which he does do he just skates deep often standing in front fo the goalei between him and savard they made better screens than checkers.Slafkovsky point man is so open all the time they have time to look around or double wind up full howitzers which typically NHL D can't do anymore but versus MTL they can.
    Slafkovsky has been playing hockey how long 12 years at least how many shifts is that 800 shifts for sure a year at 20 shifts a game x12 so over 9000 shifts lmao if you think he is going to learn anything now your dreaming.So we drafted a dummy yeah he has size he did improve skating kudos to him but he is like 99% of them a low hockey IQ.You can go watch ANY preactice coaches do NOT teach players how to think it is always some stupid drills that do not mimic real hockey.

    The problem I see is who would you put on the first line with Cole and Suzuki ? And who would be the 3rd player with Slaf and Demidov on the second line? I personally think that Cole and Demidov would be a better combination, but I might be wrong.
