Leafs should do an in person interview with Phil the thrill Kessel. Between Kessel and Robertson as a tandem to fill in on line 1, could very well work out.
Leafs should be targetting Tuch/Weegar, those are the 2 guys that take this team into the panthers realm. Would have to move out reilly but id rather weegar over reilly anyday if we will waive

Too old and too expensive for 3rd liner. Leafs cannot afford to lose more prospect like they did at the deadline. Size, skill and grit up front is what is needed. Save the cap money for the deadline. Nobody knows if the new guys will work out like Maccelli. Rust is probably needed in Pittsburgh for Crosby unless they are tanking and blowing it up. Malkin is probably a dealine deal or Crosby if they are tanking would be the prize.
I’d rather Domi play first line RW than Rust . Easiest pass ever.
If Rust, with everything he brings, for only 5$mill for the next 3 years isn't worth it, how for a Toronto team with no/little cap space can improve still? Where for 5$ mill for 3 years can you improve tbe team? Please let me know?
