I disagree with Kesse about KH not overpaying for Mctavish! Earlier in the season they said they would overpay for the right 2C! If this isn’t that fit then I don’t k ow what is! I’d overpay for a guy like this! He’s a beast and what a fit with Bolduc and Demidov!
Hiring Quenneville and bringing in Stefan players tells me that the Ducks look like they are going another direction! Quenneville isn’t your guy for a rebuild that’s for sure! He’s an old school coach and won’t give young players the time they need to grow! I wouldn’t doubt a couple veterans like Matheson and Anderson would be something theyde look at!
Ease up on the Demidov superstar crap already please. He’s has a high ceiling I’m sure. Doesn’t mean he’s going to hit it. Even if he does doesn’t translate into a Stanley Cup. Relax just a bit. I’ve been watching Toronto and Edmonton lose for years, superstars don’t ensure championships.
Carriere with Hutson is way too small. Teams would kill them in the defence zone. He needs a bigger mobile dman to pair with him. Too bad we didn’t have 2 Guhles lol
Struble,Xhekaj,Matheson all LD,one of them will be the traded, if Reinbacher makes the team, then definitely Guhle/Dobson are #1 pairing against other teams #1 line, Hutson/Reinbacher #1A line against #2 line, when Matheson is traded sometime this season we will see the emergence of Engstrom as the offensive/ defensive 3rd LD… three solid pairings with offensive and defensive options on all…. 4 out of the 5 defenders are 6’2 and about 200 lbs each and all under 25 and most are under 23… remember every offseason their are plenty of 5/6/7 defenders on the Trade of FA market
Here’s a thought. Maybe Struble’s metrix were so great because Hutson had the pouch much more when he was paired with Struble.
And why does everyone want to see Matheson traded away? I love the guy. We have him, let’s keep him.
Next year it has to be Reinbacher.
Regarding LJ and his height may I remind everyone that there were TWO Hab's legends, Yvan Cournoyer & Henri "the Pocket Rocket" Richard who were both 5ft 7! …TWENTY ONE Stanley Cups between the two of them!

I think it is a mistake if they decide to trade Josh Anderson and not play Arber Xhekaj. Who will protect our stars? Gallagher is in the pest role (also important), not the enforcer role…. But also…28:15 What if we could make a Hobson guy from some weird cloning experiment? Do you think he could be on the first defensive pair?
