Today let’s delve into one of the most interesting teams of the offseason, The Dallas Stars. After falling short for the third straight year in the Western Conference Finals, Dallas went back to the drawing board to prepare for a busy offseason. Managing to retain many of their players the Stars opted not to make roster changes but instead chose to change head coaches with the hopes to run this thing back and get a different result. But should you be confident in the Dallas Stars heading into the season? And will this team manage to get over the hump once and for all? Well let’s talk about it. Im the first good vid btw
good to see the 2010s sharks are back
When You Teams Future is crazy
Keep it up brotha, I know you see your numbers going up!!🙏
Cheers fella!
Game 1 make me think pooled wins in 5 they can’t score 5 on 5 that’s been evident from round 1. How are you sorta analyst but don’t like at underline stats
Some things I've observed about Dallas: Otter struggles under the bright lights and big pressure of the post season. Benn is a good player with a bad attitude. He's kind of a dick and too cool for school. Doesn't lend itself to great leadership when times get tough. Lastly, Seguin is good but he's kinda always been similar to Matthews, Marner and Nylander. Fades away during the playoffs, just when he's needed most. Those are significant flaws and almost all would cause playoffs underperformance.
I’m expecting a monster season from the Robertson-Hintz-Rantanen line this season.
Let's go Stars!
I dont knwo about you guys but im glad mason marchment is gone he is brutal
i see a cup for the stars, something feels good about a new coach that wants his players to be physical, also a lot of their core has had so much playoff experience.
As an Avs fan, I'm sick and tired of losing to these guys every time in the playoffs. I was at game 7 and it was the most brutal game I've ever been to. But I respect them…outside of Benn and Duchene lol.
Biggest problem for the Stars might be that they didnt hit, and they get hit the most.
Time to relocate to Quebec frfr.
1 important thing Florida does better than any other team… mucking it up and playing borderline dirty at the right time. Don’t like Stars system considering their personnel. Heiskinin is key and needs to be healthy. Def a top 6 team no doubt. Great video
Dallas Stars last 4-5 years remind me of the San Jose Sharks I think in the 2005-2010's with prime Marleau/Pavelski/Thornton/Couture/Nabokov, etc, the roster was full of talent up and down the lines, and a solid #1 goalie, and they always did well in the regular season, never have to worry about missing the playoffs, but they would underperform and just can't get over the hurdle in the playoffs….if the Stars can't do that within a year or two, the team will be imploded like the Sharks and be on a long rebuild
Let's be honest, the only reason they even got past round 1 is because of Rantanen. Nice video, as always!
Can't wait for october!
If the blueline stays healthy and Bischel improves and continues pounding people and get rid of that man on man system they will be fine.
I also had Stars vs Panthers for the Cup. It was agonizing to see them stumble and crash in the conference final. They just couldn’t make anything happen at full strength, and once Edmonton figured out their special teams more, it was fatal.
i really do think the new couch is what we needed and i think are blue line is fine since lindel did loose his buddy in lysdvisk idk how to spell there names fully and well now we have big bill bischul as well and he loves to hit so if he stays on the roster he can get more experience
and maybe this year we do get another defense guy for the trade deadline to help us leave the zone more often to help get offence going idk maybe im weird or i just want them to win a cup for benn before he is gone
"after game one dallas was going to dismantle the oilers" uh no. they came back from 3-1 down because of dumb penalties taken by the oilers if you remember that game the oilers dominated in the first 40, and after that loss the series was a total blowout by the oil
This team is just too frustrating, funny how their most successful recent run in 2020 came when no one expected them to make it that far
Pete Deboer has a bad track record of being completely out coached when it matters most. Incredible regular season coach only to fail at getting over the hump because he’s out coached
“Hay-skuh-nen” not “high-skuh-nen”
I don’t think we’re a better team on paper moving into this season compared to last, but I think the ducks will fall in line and we’ll ultimately thrive under Gully. Chemistry outta be better. Hopefully we can gather a couple of depth role players to help out
Montreal is the best drafting team now.
I really like Grunland. Dallas will miss him
Hot take, Dallas doesn't win the cup in the next 3 years and they go into a rebuild
Deboer refused to change strategy.
It would have been nice to make it to the Cup but honestly, I don't think there was a chance that they were beating the Cats.
