Has Alpecin-Deceuninck Hacked Cycling? | Tour de France 2025 Stage 20 | THEMOVE

Lance, George, Sir Bradley Wiggins, and Spencer Martin (aka “The Professor”) break down Kaden Groves’ stunning solo victory from the breakaway on a tough and rain-soaked Stage 20 of the 2025 Tour de France. They dive into how rare it is for a pure sprinter to win solo, how Alpecin-Deceuninck continues to punch above its weight with smart strategy and timing, and why riders are still risking it all in bunch sprints for minor GC placings. The crew also previews the unusual, modified final stage in Paris and answers a few listener questions to close out the day.

  1. 40:02 Imagine how boring the tour would be if Jonas is not there or is not 100% because he did the Giro. The second place would be more than 10 minutes (probably more actually) behind the first. I hope Vingegaard concentrates only on the Tour for the next few years.

  2. The weirdest tour I’ve seen. A terrible parcours. Too many stages with too many categorised climbs. The classic recipe of six big mountain days in the Pyrenees and Alps, a prologue to start and one other TT, three lumpy ones and the remainder pan flat. This is what you get when you mess with illustrious tradition.

  3. That spill made my shoulders hurt😮. George is correct 1 team win versus 0 wins is a big deal.Boys had to earn that money today. I still demand Lance, George, throw Wiggs in there to be inbed reporters riding on the back of the field next year😁 PLEASE.

  4. Frank Van den Broeke decided to miss turns since he would have lost 11 out 10 times in a sprint against Stewart and Groves. Dumb of Stewart to not take his responsibility.

  5. Nasty feministic from Lance to say george and wiggo have to go for dumb woman cycling analysts.

  6. Love all the inside baseball talk. If it wasn't for you guys I would not be watching the tour de France.

Since they Dole out time bonuses etc why don't they Dole out time handicaps before races begin if there are riders that are unbeatable?

  7. I'll start with – other "fans" have already told me to STFU about JBH. But… no… I'm giving a thumbs down to the whole TdF TheMove coverage because they dropped JBH like a boat anchor when Peacock came calling. Shame on you all – he was there on the Airstream, he should have been there this year.

  8. 125/1 Groves wins stage 20, Johan B close with his wildcard for 2nd, he did pick Arensman for stage 19, acknowledged

  9. This seems like Tadej’s hardest TDF victory yet, but it also seems like his easiest TDF victory yet. If that makes any sense.

  10. Groves can't contest with the top sprinters, hence why hes a lead out man, he's probably turned more to be a puncheur rider for stages like today

  11. Jonas had 2 bad days because Pogačar let him have 2 bad days. If Pogačar really pushed on Ventoux, Superbagneres, Loze or La Plagne Jonas would have had 6 bad days.

  12. Would people rather see Peacock commercials? There’s a whole crew behind the scenes helping to put this show on and they don’t work for free. My biggest disappointment is, missing the swear jar. Can’t have that thanks to Peacock. The price to pay for Lance and the guys making the big time. Kudos to them!

  13. Arnold is an a$$hat. When he told Americans to "F" your freedoms" regarding the clot shot, just proves who he really is….
