The Wes Walz Minnesota Hockey School, a boys and girls camp associated with the Minnesota Wild and the National Sports Center, kicked off with a special visit from MN Wild alternate captain Zach Parise at The Rec Center in St. Louis Park. Group one of the hockey school, consisting of Mite players ages 6-9, were able to ask Parise questions and collect autographs during the visit.
Parise delivered inspiring commentary about how hard work ethic, grit and passion make all the difference when it comes to becoming a successful athlete. Walz explains to the kids that all of their hard work at camp will help them develop as hockey players.
