The 2024 Denver Art Museum’s Native Arts Artist-in-Residence, Dylan McLaughlin, is a multidisciplinary artist looking critically at ecologies of extraction and threatened ecosystems. His installation at the DAM transforms data and stories related to the significant decline of the monarch butterfly population into an experimental sound piece with 3-D-printed data visualizations.
