  1. “I climb slothy and slow now because of injuries” next clip is him just cut loosing and not climbing very slothy😂

  2. great video guys! i am curious what Emil's injury was. i had a lower back thing that ive been rehabing for the last few months, and finally properly back on the wall again now.

  3. the intro looked super cool, for me personally, rest of the vid could have been normal sized, but was not a big deal how it was.

  4. Man I loved this so much, the aspect ratio felt cool and I just love watching Emil climb hard boulders:) keep it up!

  5. Lovely video but the starting meta comment reads as very insecure, we understand the language of film man, make your creative choices and let your work speak for itself.

  6. Did you decide to shoot 4:3 because of being able to shoot open gate as well? Or purely for the nostalgia vibes? Great vid as always.

  7. Sick video as always. Also, you guys should try and do a collab with Wirtual. I know he likes climbing and lives in Sweden now.

  8. Loved the format! Keep the nostaliga coming! I'd perfer if the file it self was 4:3 rather than blackbars on a 16:9 🙂

  9. The problem w/ Kilter grading I think is mostly related to wall angle — I think a lot of people contribute grades (either using "quick log", which is its own issue, or the full tick menu) without realizing what angle their app is set to and whether it even matches what the board is set to. I've sent V9 on the Kilter board on some popular problems but I've never even sent V6 outside. Also there being no benchmarks doesn't help the situation. I really like the Kilter board itself, but the app is pretty bad IMO.

  10. I really like 4:3 format. Works really well for climbing videos… plus the vibes of your opening sequence are UNMATCHED. You should shoot an outdoor project film with this format.

  11. realy great video, hovever although the format surely stands out in todays youtube, i think 16/9 is better.
To me 4/3 was kinda distracting me from the video

  12. I cannot express how much I have been waiting for a video like this!!

Also, I remember seeing something about a work-in-progress on a climbing film with Emil and Cordi on some outside rock, possibly rope climbing, but I never saw the film. Any news on what happened with this?

  13. Is it a new youtube feature that titles are now sometimes translated in your native language automatically? For me that's really cringe.

  14. What I'm the most jealous of at your gym is the dual box fans next to the kilter board. My gym is run by skinny, cold people who wear jackets in the summer and I am a giant, sweaty bear. I've started bringing my own fan to the gym when I plan to kilter…

  15. Personally I'm not a fan of the high camera angles for climbing. All moves kinda look the same. Appreciate the camera work though and loved the aspect ratio!

  16. Super nice! Black looked SIGNIFICANTLY harder than the other routes. The two big moves off questionable holds were really sick. Strong work!

  17. I actually didn’t like the angle of the climbs. I wanted to see the yellow where you matched with your hand and then swapped out but the angle did not let me see what happened there.

  18. Holy moly… Emil you bulked up a lot… 86kg! 😀 I remember a video where it was discussed that as a climber you are considered heavy if you weigh more than 80kg …and back then there was only one professional climber in this weight category. Things have changed a lot… but for the better! 🙂
