There was no guarantee that the oilers would find a goalie in the offseason. Not accounting for Carter Hart which isn't going to happen based off of the hints from people within oilers media the goalie market was meh during this off season.
Their best shot is targeting Silovs. I still think they can do so, but they’ll have to give something up for him. Regardless, there wasn’t that many great options in Free Agency to replace Skinner and/or Pickard. Who knows what will happen in the future though. Here’s hoping the goaltending department being invested into actually blossoms into something great alongside Petter Aubrey helping out with proper goaltending coaching.

The issue here is who is available and of those goalies, who would be appropriate? The choices are not good.
Stan Bowman is 💯 right here. What would've been the point in making a lateral move? There isn't one. He's right – why make a move unless it's a clear upgrade?
Why getting livid trust the process and Stan Bowman has been doing alright theres really no complaints on what he's done so far.. amd goaltenders are very low, till they get rid of Nurse or buy him out there goaltender situation is short the best thing is to trade pickard and hopefully getting a goaltender thats better then pickard and noting against pickard.. and let's give this new Goalie coach a chance give him at least 2 to 3 years 4 years max
