Back when he was a Minnesota Gopher, he was the first person I ever saw shoot a goal with his stick drawn back between his legs. He was in close on the goalie, so I thought he did it to prevent the goalie from poke-checking the puck. Afterwards he said no, it was just a for show maneuver he had been practicing.
