Reality, especially CAP Reality, can be fundamentally annoying. The CAP Fairy can't just fly down and bless us with 5+ mil just cuz apparently. Maybe lets see what the guys we have can do and if Rust (or someone like him) is available near trade deadline and that is still a need maybe we explore options then. Take care all.
He'd be a killer addition if they can make some moves to male it happen.
They need another big name like him but have no money. Team has too many unproven players and lost a ton of depth. Can't see them making it back this year and Flordia keeps the same team throughout all this.

Let’s be honest…Nurse isn’t going anywhere and I don’t blame him! Why are we looking at more smallish forwards…we don’t want smaller players to replace average or larger players! Can’t win with small light weight players…Yamamoto, Ryan, Arvedsson, Skinner all come to mind but we still have about 5 smallish players on the roster and we need size and grit…Kostin comes to mind. We lost size when we sent Kane to Vancouver and we haven’t replaced that size or grit.
I dont see them signing any big or even mid names until they're sure about McDavid signing for how long and how much.
I wouldnt feel very comfortable if i was the GM with adding or signing anyone else until something tangible happens with McDavids camp

This came across my iPhone , Kirill Kaprizov plays for the wild sighs 120 million extension , that can hurt lots of teams , and drive the cost of tickets almost out of reach for fans . I have watch hockey for about 65 years now , and for what they charge for a ticket , I refused to pay that much .
