No he should try to improve and plus I will get upset if he leaves
Time to move on from Reichel, I’ve seen enough, he has had all the chances in the world to prove he can be a real contributor and he hasn’t shown the consistency or offensive production
It depends on the return. I'm not sure he has much value. It's probably in their best interest to keep him another year and hope he puts it together.
Dont forget isles still owe trade considerations for josh bailey. Granted gm is different but saved the owner sone money and should honor the deal. Reichel and a late pick for Lee.
Reichel has underperformed relative to the opportunities given to him, even considering if you believe the way management utilized him has been less than optimal.
If he had even the slightest mean streak or pest attribute to him he'd be an AMAZING checking winger that can still contribute offensively. Thinking of somebody who would have been great on Bollands wing in that type or a role if he completely bought into being that player.
I would trade Reichel for a bag of hockey pucks.
Selling low on him would be rly stupid
How about trading him to Minnesota, and bring back Hartmann?
Reichel will go elsewhere & tear it up! Hawks never handled him right!
I don't see anyone aside from Nazar that possesses the skill to be gifted a top line spot that isn't earned in camp, so Reichel (if still on the roster) should get a legit shot up there, if not to simply attempt to boost his stock for a potential trade at the deadline or next offseason, and that is if he doesn’t pave his way to holding a spot in the linup moving forward. Feels like selling him now would be selling at an all-time low, and not a good move, when he could very well be playing bottom six or scratched here and there while working with him. Not like they are hurting for cap space to hang onto him for another year. However, if he's needed to be added into a bigger deal as a sweetener for a Mason McTavish, then HE GONE 😅
