2023-24 Upper Deck Boston Bruins Centennial Tin
what’s up guys this week have probably one of the most expensive boxes I bought at the expo still a good deal paid at $200 cash so overall you could probably get these at 240 right now online so still a decent price it’s a Bruins Centennial Tin uh eight cards per pack 18 packs per tin i was debating whether or not to open this in the first place but considering Edmonton lost um I figured I would open this because Marshan is all over this product so if you’re going to hit a Maran now is a good time to hit it so hopefully hit a Marshan there you’re guaranteed to get three hits two autographs one jersey one acetate and one numbered parallel with a bunch of other inserts and stuff but there’s some massive cards in here i mean there’s some Jersey autos there’s some seat autos there’s some 101 ticket autos so there is massive things in here and um we’ll see what we can pull before we get into that again showing you some cards that you might not have seen before so this is actually one of my first ever pulls like actual I didn’t buy this card i pulled this Cary Price Young Gun from 0708 uh Upper Deck Series 1 so nice card to show off there today all right so we’ll get into this tin overall i mean there’s there like I said there’s massive cards in here you’re guaranteed to get three hits a lot of the times it’s going to be the autos that are just average Bruins players it’s very similar to the Montreal Centennial tin or boxes that came out uh overall I think this one probably has better hits in it but I did like the base design of the Montreal Centennial set a lot better so we’ll see what we can pull out of here and you’re getting 18 packs per box so you’re guaranteed to get three hits so it’s rare to have tins nowadays and guarantee hits but they didn’t actually make hobby boxes of I don’t think they did so it’s all it’s all tin tins are the hobby boxes but we’ll see here it’s all Bruins obviously uh it’s a bit strange for a Habs fan to be opening a Bruins set but like I said if you’re going to hit a Marian now is a good time he is still celebrating with the Panthers so they’re on a a very good run as such for the Oilers uh I really thought they might do it this year but I guess not so in terms of the parallels I’m kind of hoping to get a green or a black obviously 101 ones but there is the regular almost like the exclusives the Centennial ones jacob Blco Eddie Shore PJ Axelson here’s our first insert ray Bourc Bruins we have our first autograph already so we’ll see what that is cam Neily so there’s a bunch of short prints in the bear tracks jacqu plunk there’s a Brad Brad Marshine so we’ll see who the autograph is steve Casper so not one of the better ones i don’t think there are short prints i don’t have them off hand which ones are short prints but Steve Casper is the first autograph i can try and see uh Crl F so I don’t think he is a short print he is no he’s not a short print so we’ll see and you can also get dual autographs dual jerseys um so there’s a bunch of cool stuff in here i think that’s our second autograph i’m going to save it just cuz this box was expensive so we’ll go to the next pack all right ed Westfall didn’t do my organization tory Krug Greg Shepard a record holders of Ray Bourke i need some more space over here i think these are the retros or the 100th Centennial set joe Juno Don Ari Ted Donado Glenn Murray i don’t usually say hits but I don’t know i just feel like on a product that’s more expensive like this Dino Charara Tom Fergus Johnny Boychuk David Pasternac Brian Leech Kent Lindman we have a memorable moments of Willow Re’s debut and another one of these Centennials Craig Shepard uh I think there’s gold pearl i think this might be a gold so the Joe Juno is probably a gold you can see in the foil on the upper deck logo i think that’s a gold golds are not numbered and that’s our hit so I’m going to I’m going to save them guys cuz I don’t want to have it all in the first first stack here we’ll see the numbered card and stuff as it as it hits but the two hits we’ll keep d Clapper Pavle Zaka Bob Beers Joe Juno Charlie Mackoy Kyle McLaren trophy winners Derek Sanderson and a stoppers of Ed Johnson norm Leave Joe Thornton love that jersey joseph Stumple Rick Middleton Jaratell Lionel Hitchman a captain’s card Brad Marshan so there you go nice little Marshian there not a hit but I’ll take the little Marshian and a retro of Charlie Simmer nice retro design that year so there’s so many ins like I don’t usually I stack them by insert i haven’t had a duplicate of any insert yet so there’s a there’s a bunch of different inserts you get in here we’ll see let’s continue paul Coffee Rick Nash Phil Espazito Randy Buridge Ken Bombgartner Don Marquette there’s our second memorable moments neil’s 55th goal from 1990 and a capturing a champion Mark Reki so our second memorable moment and another new insert all right let’s keep going it says one base short print per pack i don’t know the numbers on uh like which ones are the short prints so I’m not going to know as we go but Sean Thornton they’ll be looked up after andy Brickley Terry O’Reilly Hal Gil former HAB Ed Johnson Dave Christian a record holders of Ed Johnson kind of hard to read what the record is have a next up Mark Mclofflin record holder for most saves in a single season it’s very small i don’t know if you guys can see that but Very hard to even read what’s under there record holder all right let’s keep going bob Sweeney Craig Janney Keith Crowder Sergey Samsonov Charlie Simmer Bill Garin an Edward Eddie Shore retired numbers and then next up I think that’s a gold again Brandon Carlo so put the golds aside here all right retired numbers another new insert i mean there’s so many different insert parallels in here here’s our assetate card so we’ll see who that is daniel Pa Jason Allison Wayne Cashman Jerry Chvers Andy Moog Brad Park memorable moments casper’s Selki trophy win and a Hall of Famers adam Oats very nice looking card so an Adam Oats hall of Famers that’s our one clear cut of the box so I’ll put the hits up there all right so we’re still looking for a numbered card and then we do have the two hits left over that I that I skipped at the beginning because it’s too close to the beginning harry Syninden Dave Forbes Al Secord Mike Milbury Hampus Lynholm Steve Hines Hall of Famers Eddie Shore nice looking card even without the uh without the acetate and a Don Marquott 100th year patrice Berseron Dave Reed Chris Nylan Marco Sturm Glenn Wesley Bill Ranford Memorable Moments Esposito’s 100 point season and a retro Bill Garin we’re getting down we have uh five packs left and then our two hits so bit of a longer video today for sure but with a big box like this I’m not going to rush through it matt Grizzlick Connor Clifton Andrew Ray Croft Bobby Orbase Mike Canubal Brian Rollston another record holders here Johnny Busk most career goals I think is what it says and then capturing a champion Ken Hodgej let me just find where that even is okay oh okay we have a I think a green so the greens are out of 49 I think let me just check to make sure uh if unless it’s a parallel of a of an insert then it would be out of 25 so Brian Prop Lionus Olark Bobby Carpenter Terry Sachuk Derek Sanderson Mark Reki Big Bad Bruins Ken Bombgartner and here is our numbered card Lionus Olmark number 38 of 49 so not the nice to get it out of 49 for sure the green looks a little strange from Boston but I get it because of their uh heritage there but uh Omar probably one of the not the best ones just because he switched teams pretty quickly but he was part of that crazy duo with Slayman so not not bad overall i’ll put that with our with our hits over here all right so a couple packs left before we hit the hits butch Goring Dallas Smith Alan Person Steve Casper Jake Dresque Adam Oats trophy winners of Tim Thomas and a Randy Buridge 100th year all right butch Goring Dallas Smith Alan Person Steve Casper Jake De Brusk Adam Oats Hall of Famers Jean Rattell and a hundth year Steve Hines all right last pack i think I’m going to do the autograph first because I’m hoping for like a multi-way jersey card here so Byron Defoe Roi Vashan Ken Hodgej Tim Thomas Johnny Busk Gourd Kusac Derek Sanderson Big Bad Bruins and a Sergey Samson of retro so give me one second here i’m just going to go to the autograph checklist to make sure there’s no short prints okay so it would be Bear Tracks bear Tracks and our first one was Steve Casper let me just check the number on the back sorry for this guys just want to make sure it’s not a short print so SK so Steve Casper was not a short print and we’ll check who our second biograph let’s see reed Larson Willie Ori Milan Luchich John Wensync Mark Sevard Ken Hodgej retired numbers of Lionel Hitchman and our second autograph is Norm Levy so definitely an older player you can see in the the shakiness of the autograph let me check if that is a short print nl not a short print but nice to get the older they’re both older players so not not current there’s some current ones that are strange like very few games played with the Bruins all right and we’ll see what our hit is here so this is our jersey relic hopefully we’re getting a multiway or one of those insert parallels rajan Lelay Jeremy Swayman Ray Bourke Charlie Coyle Big Bad Bruins of Terry O’Reilly and it’s a single there we go brad Marshian so look I mean it’s not a duel but right now Marshan probably one of the hottest cards of this set just because he is on a run that is I don’t think I’ve ever seen a run from a player traded at the trade deadline like he had in these playoffs it was unbelievable he looked so much younger than his age he was flying on the ice so many points and people just especially in Boston i know he they traded him but I don’t think the fans cared that it wasn’t his choice right the the team traded him so I think overall he’s going to be remembered as a Bruin for sure now he has a second fan base in the Panthers so I I open this box starting with Brad Marshian and we end up hitting a Brad Marshan jersey thanks for watching guys like subscribe and peace
This was my biggest purchase at the expo! Offered $200 cash for the tin from a smaller seller and he accepted. At that price, with the number of Bruins fans trying to complete the set, you really cannot go wrong. No massive hits but the Marchand hunt, fresh off his second Stanley Cup win, was successful! Also go the complete base set (1-100) as well. Thanks for watching!
Dropped off over 300 cards with COMC that should be up on my page relatively soon. Please feel free to check them out and make an offer!

Auto is really good fun fact he didn’t last long only 2 seasons after bad brain injury in the boards. He was 1st round pick for the bruins 14th overall had an established rookie year was gonna be a super star! Bruins fans lov norm didn’t last long but his cards r def rare to find especially autos! Nice break!
Set looks nice. I thought very few doubles/triples, some names really brought me back! Thanks for opening and sharing a look!
