Love these vids, mostly because you see in this specific game there are many talented younger and older current or former D1, minor pro or guys who played pro in Europe…then you see a current NHL'er in Pinto….all on the same ice yet nobody really jumps out that stands above the others (granted it's a pick up game). Just goes to show you there are so many little factors involved in getting to the top level in any pro sport, and every one of those guys that didn't get there prob ask themselves that question all the time! "How come I didn't make it.?" I'm in my 50s and grew up playing high level travel soccer on LI then eventually at St. John's University. Played with many guys that went on to play pro in MLS and Europe. Just like hockey, it was the small details of the game that got guys to the pro level and others never beyond D1 college.
