  1. I'm fine with giving Domi another year. I think he'd be good as a 4th line centre or a bottom 6 winger. If he doesn't get more consistent in his play this year, then move him. McMann I was disappointed with, but he also has potential. The Leafs have a habit of bailing on young players and prospects before they've developed, who go on to shine on other teams.

  2. Every player has strengths and weaknesses, therefore, you don't trade Domi who bleeds blue and white who adds a toughness element you need and shows up in the playoffs. So, stop with this nonsense. Want to free up cap space there are two or three other options on this team to consider, not to mention the dead cap space occupied by Rielly who will provide such a relief if gone. He has been a leaf for 12/13 years. Time for change!

  3. I would keep Max! Has passion, stones, and shows up in the Playoffs. "GRIT" imperative on the Leafs roster, to compete with the Panthers.

  4. Move on from Kampf, Jarnkrok, Robertson, and Reilly. Frees up Cap Space, which will allow Tre to acquire a top 6 forward and 1-2 d-man, that has size and physicality!

  5. Agreed w Darius re keeping Domi. Still value McMann as a trade piece w Kampf. Jarnkrok I also believe has some use yet.

  6. From Elliotte Friedman that Nicholas Robertson ard case is August 3 and from Frank Seravalli that leafs looking to move Nicholas Robertson in sign and trade and teams linked Sharks, Predators, Pens, kings have been linked to Nicholas Robertson

  7. I’d trade McMann before I trade Domi. They need to find a way to package McMann and Robertson and a pick for a top 6 wingwr

  8. Seriously, not Max! We need him on the team – he just needs the chance to settle on the wing and show how he is a Leaf through and through. Jarnkrok, Kampf, even McMann if we must, we have more disposable assets than Max. 😭

  9. Guys the top 6 were the problem in the playoffs not the bottom 6 forwards. Until Matthews wakes up it won’t matter 🤨

  10. I think the Leafs could ride with the great bottom six changes and see what the specific need develops into being, so if Treeliving keeps a few bob and waits to see what the need is, I think they could be much more specific going into the playoffs.

  11. Hey Nick what wired earbuds are you using for your streams. I am looking to buy a set for streaming and find yours sound very good!

  12. So sick of hearing the constant chatter about Marner and Reaves. Yes, the Leaf Nation is a very tough place to be in. After almost 60 yrs of promises, yes, we demand more from our team than pretty much anyone. At the same time, those 2 players decided to become toxic. Reaves tanked so bad that he was dropped to the Marlies. Marner was out team shopping before the playoffs even began. So good riddance. I doubt they'll do any better where they are.

Now, here are some other questions… Why in hell is the Leaf office so obsessed with adding more forwards? Just how many do we even need? How about you trade for the ones that matter, and concentrate on what we have needed for the last few decades… Defense! No.. Let's just do what we always do and put too much pressure on the forwards and especially the goalies, but forget that defense is where you win games. Without them, you gotta hope for 5+ goals and goalies to stand on their heads while letting in as little as possible.

Maybe. Just maybe. We should be looking at replacing everyone in the Leaf office since they seem to be the ones that constantly choose to keep the status quo instead of winning the Cup.. Winning the Cup isn't necessary to them because the team merch and ticket sales are constantly bringing in more than any other team in the NHL. At this rate, it'll be another decade before they "re-tool" the team again to make yet another promise of bringing home the Cup. We like to lay blame at the players because they are easy targets. We need to start holding the upper management accountable for this repetitive crap. It's time to bring in people who actually want to win a Cup.
