Anything over 12 million is a waste of money. Kaprizov has done nothing. He is always hurt. He is always losing. There is no reason to give away the franchise to a guy who can't be relied on.
The only deal I would personally feel comfortable with is 3 years at 12 million.
Wild prospect pool is complete trash. The only untouchable is in fact Yurov. You guys and your made up fantasy world about Buium is absurd. He literally has no NHL skills and will be terrible for at 3 years. He is so far away from even being a serviceable 5/6/7 defenseman.
You really gotta stop overrating everyone that is "your guy" and analyze players legitimately. Your chat on the CHL and NCAA is even more ridiculous than you pretending Buium is goid or the Wild have a quality prospect pool. It's utter madness.
If you are a wild podcast, be a wild podcast. If you are going to talk about teams that matter even less than the Wild, like the Pens and Bruins, and talk about Utah, just do a 2nd podcast, or rename this one. This whole thing is absurd.
As a MN transplant to UT (and season ticket holder) I LOVE SpokedZ’s takes on the Stormin Mormons. No one out here really gets the NHL, and the reliance on NBA management/tactics for a baseline is a poor frame of reference. The only pod worth listening to is the Locked On broadcast, and its not great (Callahan sounds like a carnival barker).
Don’t sweat the Mormies, they only make up 42% of the population, and they don't know shit about hockey, or hockey culture. Their heads are so buried in the sand, they were SHOCKED when the Clubbers set alcohol sales records right out the gate.
The Prophets Pigeons will likely be able in the playoff hunt this year. As Cooley/Keller develop, the top six is going to be dangerous. The bottom six will be interesting to see this season, with so many moves out. GMBA and PHOGMBG look to have similar taste in player archetypes, and the Central is going to be a meat grinder yet again.
