It has zero affect because no team would offer Skinner more then 1 year on the open market and if there is let him leave…. These guys are complete idiots if they truly think Skinner is worth that money
Well Dostal on a BOTTOM team had similar stats to Skinner on a TOP team… if you think that deserves the same $$ WOW

Skinner got the Oilers to two cup finals playing mostly well for his goalie age at 25, apparently goalies mature at 30 before they take the cup on average, Oilers lost due to incomplete performances and big turnups required by the superstars and their backup casts. Oilers simply stopped being too competitive in several final games where they were supposed to be at their absolute best and alertness to win the cup.
No effect whatsoever. Skinner is so inconsistent he should get half of what Dostal gets.

Skinner let in two goals in game 7 of the Stanley cup final. If that is not giving your team a chance to win then what is?
Who in their right mind expect Stu to be a dawg this season? The guy is mediocre and bowman will be fired if he locks up Stu long term and especially if 97 isn’t addressed long term.
