  1. Great analysis! Love how you recognize that a goalie can do everything right and still get scored on. I cringe everytime I hear other analysts just look at the score and say a goalie was "off that night" or that they didn't "look their best" despite a goalie playing a great game, even if the score says otherwise. Gives me PTSD from my minor hockey days. Anyways keep up the great work love the vids.

  2. Short answer, Skinner is good because he is big. He cant even B-fly push. Terrible technic all over. Sorry.

  3. Great stuff, Jimmy, as always. I would have enjoyed high school geometry so much more had the teacher related it to goaltending.

  4. Would like to see …some kinde of SEASON analysis of Stu….In my opinion too many people are blaming him for too much goals…OK I know he made a ton of mistakes but….I would like to see your video to this

  5. Great breakdown, as always. That bit about staying on the angle is so applicable for goalies of any level.

  6. “Can’t blame Skinner on a breakaway”, not when he can’t save many breakaways, in fact, I can’t recall him saving a single breakaway in this playoff. Goalie faces breakaway all the time, especially in the shootouts, they made way more saves than allowing goals overall. So yes, Skinner is to blame for those breakaways, scoring on a breakaway is not as easy as it looks, only Skinner makes it easy for the shooter.

  7. I don’t think Edmonton challenged that goal where Tkachuk was inside the blue paint because the puck ricocheted off Bouchard, that pucks trajectory was a foot off the goal.

  8. That first goal against Skinner. Notice Ekholm gets his stick slashed out of his hand, and the pass to the goal scorer goes right through where Ekholm’s stick should have been. That’s one of FIVE uncalled obvious penalties that Lead directly to goals against this series. The oilers got screwed by the Colin Campbell’s refs.

  9. Bob gives up 2 wrister muffins to start the game. Stu gives up 2 back door chances and 2 breakaway and one point shot. 2 of 5 goals against with obvious panthers penalties leading to the goals. Oilers got zero breakaways all game. And yet morons will blame Stu for losing this game for the Oilers.😂😂😂

  10. Subbed! You should have the same amount of subs at hockey psychology! Love to watch the growth of this channel

  11. Connor McDavid scored one goal in 6 games this Finals…he deserves no praise and the answer to the Oilers winning The Stanley Cup is much more than than just better goaltending. It’s their Captain actually showing up when the game is on the line! Where was he in Game 6?. The greatest player of our generation shouldn’t be getting shut down offensively by a player that was bought off of waivers (Forsling). Last Stanley Cup Finals wasn’t much different with a Game 7 No Show. It’s all too easy to blame everything on Skinner. Other then some slick passes, One would hope that after two abysmal Stanley Cup finals performances, people would finally stop GOAT talk and praise someone actually deserving of it
