Crosby said it’s harder to keep going if he takes big breaks. I think this schedule is going to come up against the greatest grinder in the history of hockey and Sir Sidney is going to thrive.
If Crosby again finishes above 1 point per game with this schedule, it will be truly remarkable. I do think that he will do it.
tough schedule. Pretty sure the back to back matchups against Sully was planned. Let's go Pens
Bravo DK
Buy tickets for 4/11 — could be the last time we see Geno play on home ice
Really a tough schedule, but how well will they handle it will matter. Hoping some young players can step up and make a difference. Thank you DK, Great show
Joey Daccord had a deep AHL run before he became a good starter for Seattle. Go Silovs.
i like that they are bringing back home and homes but this schedule is a disaster playing in jersey at 2pm then the next day in la at 1230, then playing florida twice at home in 3 days in april .
McRority, Koivunen, Brunicke, Pickering and Silovs will be new core, somehow they Quietly have to take responsibility and carry Penguins to the next era. Muse have to bet on them.
Jarry continue like he played last season? I hope not
Sounds like depth and fresh legs will be the key to the season!
Its going to be a rough year scheduling wise for sure.
For me, the best part of having the new coach and new system is those "ifs". Under Sully, we knew that the team, regardless of who was actually on the roster, would under perform. That's been the standard since 2018…a mediocre first half and a second half collapse. Except for the Covid bubble season, and I think that just confused them be of how late the season started, so they didn't know when to start losing.
Now, let's imagine that Dubas sticks to the "youth movement" as he said earlier and moves everyone over…let's say 28, except for Sid, Geno, and Letang, of course. Honestly, I'll just be happy if they move Acciari, Hayes, Heinen, and Graves.
Im perfectly fine with giving the Pens a crappy schedule. We going for McKenna, losing 1 out of each back tk back helps with the lotto!
