Forsberg +2.2 GSAx, Rittich -11.4, if you've watched Forsberg play you know he's an upgrade over Rittich, and a pretty significant one, I expect him to have a real good season in LA. Forsberg has played for some real bad teams his whole career, meanwhile Rittich has mainly played on playoff teams, hence the win loss numbers are better.
If Greentree is healthy, I think he makes this team. There is no reason for him not to.
Also I don't see him as a fourth liner.
Forsberg was a mistake. Backup should have been offered to Copley.
Bring up Greentree as a center
The 2 year contract is the problem
Greentree needs to be on the NHL roster, its not like we have skilled players all over the place on current roster.
Until Kempe signs that extension there is nothing guaranteed that he will stay in LA. Maybe he wants to win a cup.
Eddie, I understand your reasoning about the Kings having only 1 player in the top 100 prospects, being that they are a contender. But how is it the Dodgers are able to have several prospects, 6 in fact, in the top 100 in MLB. Yes, the Dodgers are an exception to the rule, but maybe the Kings can learn something from them.
There better not be any screwing around with kempe extension, cant afford to lose the guy. Weve been losing valuable ufa’s left and right

Why does Adrian kempe neeed to get paid and to pay him anything close to 10 million would b crazy the kings don't owe him anything and vice versa the way talk about some players and how much u would pay them to me is wild and I'm glad u not kings gm Eddie. 😅
Is at that age were he wants get paid and he got o b close to 30 now is time to trade him all kings cant b kings forever time to move on from Kopitar, doughty, kempe,maybe i don't believe in giving players long contracts that u have to finish off paying them fir years when there getting old and not performing and holding kings back from younger players that can help all way through there contract its no good giving player 8 year contract when ther only going to perform fir 4 of them makes no sense and i don't agree with it only hurts team eventually
Wish Copley was # 2.
He lost his backup role couple years ago with Kings to injury and that kinda sucks. Copley is a solid # 2 and he proved he could be a # 1 for decent stretches. Should have spent the $ on Forsberg elsewhere.

Has anyone on this thread watched kempe play defense,tell me a forward thats better.. His value shouldn’t be limited because he plays in our structure, he can certainly pot 45-50 goals consistently on most teams.. 44 million for 4 years
