Robertson can score 20+
Rather Robertson at 1.5m than Domi. Those dumb penalties crush them at the worst time.
Target a 50% retained Jaden Schwartz from the Kraken. Maybe Robertson and a 2 does it (likely not, at least not yet) Berube would be happy
Robertson has the BEST shot on the Leafs last season.. IMO
Holmberg's gone! Robertson will reach 24-ish goals next season , with just 12-13min TOI/GP.
Kampf and jannkoert gone. Bring in Robertson brother and keep him to fill in.

It did seem as if Robertson was feeling like part of the team and had moved on from wanting out. But then his spot was taken from him to put in Pacioretty in the playoffs. How he felt after that, I don't know.
I'd rather keep Robertson over Jarnkrok….I'd like to see him get 15 goals. Keep Nick over Jarnkrok.
If Mathews thinks Robertson has the best shot on the team…
Would possibly Mathews want to Identify as the 1st lines playmaker,, with Robertson's elite shot on his wing?
What the Leafs need in replacement of the Marner cap space is to use it on their D not their forwards but their Gm won't do that they won't get a true #1 dman

Kampf and Jarnkrok get moved for whatever you can get. If Domi doesn’t work out you find someone at the deadline same goes for maccelli.

1. Matthews & Robertson definitely have chemistry. I remember attending a game vs Dallas where they played on a line with Marner. Robo had 2 including the OT winner in a 2-1 win. They were buzzing all night.
2. Domi & Matthews have chemistry even more recently than that.
Both Robo and Domi are top 6 wingers IMO. Whether that's on a contender or not is yet to be determined, but at this point in their careers they need to play with skilled players and receive regular power play deployment, full stop. We do ourselves no favours when we bury them on the 3rd and 4th lines because come playoff time they are not equipped to handle those shut-down roles.
This season is all about auditions. If by the deadline it's determined that neither of them can fill a top 6 role, then trade them for somebody who can.
I'd like to see Domi with Matthews, they worked well before.
Keep domi for sure if you need cap. Mcmann robertson kamph jarnkrok are expendables
I believe Domi, Robertson, Maccelli and even Cowan get looks in the top 6 this season.
My money would be on Domi winning the 1st line job out of camp, with Maccelli earning the 2nd line spot, as they probably want a left-shot playmaker for JT and Willy, something that line has been lacking since its inception.
Should things get stale with Domi or Maccelli in the top 6, bump one and give Robertson a chance to show his upside on the All-American line 1.
If that all fails, or Cowan wins the job at some point (could even be out of camp), then trade the lot and free up 9-ish million to grab a true top 6 forward at the deadline.
I personally cannot wait to see this iteration of the Leafs with all of these options. I think exciting days are ahead.

You can't have Willy on the Matthews line because Willy is not disciplined enough, and it always feels like you're shorthanded. Matthews numbers would suffer.
