  1. We're stuck in the middle. Not even close to winning a Stanley Cup and not even close to being dreadful and winning the McKenna sweepstakes. This is the problem. Pick a path Drury! I'd choose trading our assets and being in position to win lottery then sign McDavid next year if he's free

  2. I like Panarin with Miller and here's why. Miller has size and his skating, though not the fastest on paper is sneaky quick especially on changes and that with his size and grit combined with his elite passing and above average finishing creates more ice potentially for Panarin.

I do recognize the chemistry between Trocheck and Bread so it's a good call in my estimation but they're effectiveness diminishes in playoffs and though Troch is a gritty effective player Miller's better built for playoffs and could be what get's Bread going in post season. I think they should at least give this a look but with a different RW…maybe Zib…or someone who can play defense

  3. This team will never learn. 100% they always have to play some players out of their best position. Then, For the last few seasons we just have to hold onto a defenceman the management ''likes'' that brings the whole team down. It's lkike they put ego ahead of what's best for the team and go with Soucey type players. I just hope he proves me wrong but the eye test says he's become Nemmeth 2.0. As a fan for 50 decades I'm so tired of this team not putting our younger players in a place to succeed! I'd rather lose a few more games in the short run to let the kids get better than always play the veterans. But it's always been like this here, welp, LGR!!!

  4. You guys are gonna' hate what I have to say, LoL

    1) Rangers fans….the whole Rangers organization: needs to stop obsessing and being myopic about offensive points production.

Yes, offensive production is essential. But it doesn't mean squat if ya' can't keep the puck out of your own net.

This team…this organization NEEDS to create and implement a tough, cohesive 200 ft. defensive system: that transitions into potent offense. This is priority Number One!!

    2) It's not about this upcoming season. This season has to be about…" We Have To See What We Have Here…"

Berard, Othmann and Robertson need to be given significant roles, and Top Six minutes.

These three players are long past the baby steps phases. It's time to throw them into the deep end of the pool, and see if they can bee Olympic swimmers.

Next summer could potentially be a huge Free Agent signing summer.

    3) These next two upcoming camps & seasons: we have Perreault, Laba, Morrow, Terrance & Roobroeck ( Chmelar, Boilard, Fortescue & Dorrington probably still two years away)…pushing for NHL jobs.

Now is the time to play Berard, Othmann & Robertson.

Start out the season, for 20 – 30 games:

    Panarin/Miller/Othmann

    Cuylle/Trochek/Berard

    Lafrenière/Parssinen/Zibanejad

    Edstrom/Carrick/Rempe

    Gavrikov/Fox
    Schneider/Morrow
    Robertson/Borgen
    ( Subs: Vaakanainen & Soucy)

Let's see what these kids could do.

Schneider needs to be in the Top Four D. He has to take that next few steps in maturing, so he can prove and fortify himself as one of our solid defensive rocks.

  5. Like your lineup Darius, except Johnny B has to center that 3rd line and I think Otter would/should compete to be on the wing there. Johnny B between Berard and Otter could be sort of vicious. Not saying Raddysh shouldn't play, but if you have 3 wingers on that line they all play 50-60 games. Competition to get in the lineup will make them play like wolves. Your D pairings are spot on. Soucy needs to go and Urho is a solid number 7.

  6. Why the hell do they continue to put Lafy with Panarin when Lafy is a LW? What the fuck? Line 1: Miller(C) Lafy(LW) Mika(RW). Line 2: Trochek(C) Panarin(LW) Cuylie(RW)

  7. Vince has a man crush on Mika. Mika can't handle center position anymore. He's soft and was often out of position. He needs to be on the wing. Also, Schneider does not belong on the 3rd pair. He needs to be a top 4 Dman. He was hurt most of the year and his body checks will increase. No doubt.

  8. Zban needs to be sent to third line rw , let him pout, then waive his ntc.
Soucy shoukd nmbe sent away for 4 th rd pick. Morrow should play as well as othamnn, berard possibly perrault , lets see what they have already!!!!!

  9. The fringe, role player FA's Drury has signed over the years are usually worthless. The exception is Carrick. Play the kids

  10. panarin, JT, Mika
    cuylle, Troch, Laf
    Brodz, Parssinen, Raddysh
*berrard, othamn, perraeult start in hartford to build confidence (based off last year, they don't look 100% NHL developed)

  11. Playing raddysh over othmann is on brand with the Rangers and is completely pointless….

You're wasting these kids and their trade value

  12. If they don’t put in Perreault and Othmann in the lineup getting (more so) reasonable minutes I will not be tuning in to watch this team as regularly as I have in the past… time to trust and give the young guns a chance at NHL level

  13. Am not a fan of Otthman at all.
No speed, no grit, no power, no finesse, no hands, no shot…..

What does he do well again?
