Good to see the ranking
Matheson plays against the best cuz he was paired with Carrier of with Ghule
Carrier was carrying that pairing defensively and his body paid the price
I would put Carrier above Matheson as far as defensive play
Matheson needs a stay home defensive partner so that he can do what he does best, use his elite skating and move the puck
If he’s paired with Hutson neither can be physical to separate players from pucks
Basically Matheson can not be the defensive D on a pairing, anyone saying he should play with Hutson or Dobson needs to go back and watch how the Matheson – Hutson pairing played last season
Ratings are subjective… and human driven…. can't put too much weight on it.
