Frederic crosschecking on Bennett – Tough Call Recommendation
here’s Trent Frederick chasing Sam Bennett around well away from the play first he punches them then he cross checks him twice that’s three penalties i call all three you don’t get two for one or three for one especially you get all these called and those cross checks to me are supplemental discipline worthy so the first one would be a fine and then this one here you’re targeting intentionally a known soft spot on an opponent’s body so here’s how you get rid of that first of all like I said the first one would be a fine i would find Trent Frederick $5,000 for that first cross check the second one the more targeted one that broke his stick in half to me all by itself is an eightgame suspension it’s a play that has nothing to do with hockey but now he’s a repeat offender because he already just did something that was worth supplemental discipline so you’d apply it right here and those two together would go into the 11 plus game suspension category so it’s just that easy repeat offender get it out of the game tough call would suspend Trent Frederick of the Edmonton Oilers 11 games for cross-checking
Trent Frederic targeted Sam Bennett with multiple crosschecks, so he deserves mutiple penalties.

Good on Frederic. It was made clear that Edmonton wasn’t going to be allowed to come back. Might as well make it worth it
No one should ever be penalized for doing anything to Sam Bennett. Period. If the NHL would hold Bennett accountable for even half of the dirty stuff he does, that alone would go a long way to prevent Frederic or anyone else from doing this kind of thing.
If Bennett doesnt want to fight here thats on him. But he can’t play the victim (which he obviously was on this play) and then when the linesman jumps in to stop it start wailing and trying to throw bombs on the Oilers player who’s pinned under the official.

Bennett is as dirty and gritty as any player
11 games lol. He will probably get a fine and that's it. The rreason this happens to a player like Bennett is that he is a cheapshot artist and the league lets him get away with it. The league lets tkachuk get away with it. They let Domi get away with it when he ran Barkov from behind (again, likely in retaliation for tkachuk attacking Marner at the end of Game 1). The DOPS clearly doesnt mind having this kind of crap in the game. I think the punishments for these type of plays (cheapshots when the game is basically over) should be severe. But they havent been for Bennett or Tkachuk, or others. I dont feel bad for Bennett at all here. I wish he would have squared up and got KO'd

I guess you’ve never watched hockey before. Those would never be separate calls. If you were to take that standard to the game and review every cross check that happened last night you would have over 20 fines.
This is the craziest narration to a video I have ever heard. You want an 11 game suspension for something that usually isn’t a penalty in a playoff game.

Normally, I'd agree 100% that this should be penalized 3 times. But it's against Bennett, so I'd call Bennett for interference. Just because.
It's against the dirtiest player in the league so no issues at all here in my opinion.
