How The Montreal Canadiens Are Building An NHL Superpower

The Montreal Canadiens, to the surprise of many, snuck into the NHL playoffs last season. Guided by the likes of Lane Hutson, Nick Suzuki, and Cole Caufield, this playoff berth put them way ahead of schedule in their team’s timeline towards a championship. They managed this feat without even getting Ivan Demidov for a full season; while still waiting on top prospects such as Michael Hage, David Reinbacher, and Jacob Fowler. Their squad and organization looks destined for greatness in the near future, so today, let’s take a look at how the Montreal Canadiens are building their newest championship contender in their organization’s storied history.

  1. Happy people are finally starting to smell the coffee. But make no mistake this comeback has been cooking for some time now. Its been obvious to those following along. They will be very good for a very long time. Enjoy perpetual pergatory Canucks fans lol. Ohh no we can't do a rebuild. For decades over and over as they have no shot to win shit. Enjoyyyyyy. Go Habs Go

  2. As a Habs fan I think everyone looks back on our season forgetting our struggles. Yes we were literally the best team for a solid 2 month span and like 10 week span post all star break. But the start and right before all star break was BAD. For starters, we started the season 3-9-1 and were 1-7-2 in the final 9 games before all star break. If you watch those 2 spans, we were VERY injured. And overall very bad. We just couldn't keep up with other teams at any aspect in either of those games. It isn't me saying we have no chance at playoffs. Buut, lets stop acting like this is a lock. We were young and just got WAYY younger then we already were. There's a good chance have a Rangers bounce back, one of Buffalo, Detroit, or Columbus take another jump, we get a lot of injuries, and some of our top guys get a lot of bad injuries, and wow all of a sudden were a bottom 5 team again.

  3. Considering they still have reinbacher, hage, demidov, kapanen, mesar, florian xhekaj, farrell, fowler, roy, and beck as prospects, man oh man.

  4. I really think the goal for the Habs for next season in my mind is, I want them to play the Panthers in the playoffs. If they can get a series against the Champs it will help the rebuild in my opinion.
