We saw what happened when Hamilton was injured NJ went from contender to a bad team.I am not a NJ fan what so ever but from what I have noticed the past two seasons is not surprising suspect management and suspect coaching.This is the same across the league it's only a matter of what coach/manager has better players.just look at MTL they didn't think Hutson was going to be all that great nobody did that is why he went late second round. There is a whole pile of incompetence running through the league and don't get me started on hockey IQ I see so much bad hockey I have to wonder do players learn anything other than skating and flash?
Bottom line no NJ has over 6 mil in cap space there is no reason to make any negative moves.Hamilton's contract is also good until 2028 so there is zero reason to even THINK the yare moving him.
