  1. Mediocrity for most teams. Mediocre hockey. I'm old and absolutely can't even watch regular season. Sweeney has been desperate for 3 years and it's all fallin in on him. So many bad free agent misses. Not 1 good signing for years. Add ekholn to 2 useless lindholms and throw in a pilon zadorov and the big bad bs are the big sad bs.

  2. i don't get it…..gonna be a lot of good players stuck in providence now. waste of money. maybe they all trade bait?

  3. I actually love that were tanking. The problem is that Sweens thinks hes building a playoff team……or is he? Hagens and McKenna sounds nice……

  4. The next Matt Beleskey, they will be buying him out or attaching assets to get rid if him within 2-3 years,

  5. Of course the bottom 6 matters look at all the old Bruins teams form loke 2010 around that time. We had some or the best 3rd and 4th lines in the league.

  6. What Sweeney needs to do is stop signing players aren't scoring what is going to improve. Even players down in P bruins plays better then regular bruins u ant using them in roster. Stop being selfish why u a gm . Resigning Geekie ok well deserve Jokurji also young did ok last season. Didn't need to resign Beecher also sign Kuraly. U dont trade Zacha , Middlestad not now. But still there's players i would sign like Ehlers , Piu Suter why not put up more goals if surround with ppl. But bruins fall out of wild card and play offs u might aswell trade Beecher, Kuraly, Peeke, Korpisalo, Arvidson just saying if they all do good u can get picks return like u did last year . Bruins cap next year will rise more so be good . Sweeney I mean can bring in two players scoring whose best available.

  7. We are also forgetting 1 MAJOR factor in these signings. The player has to want to come to Boston, and right now, it’s not the most desirable spot in the NHL. We have to be able to look at all aspects before casting judgement on the brass.

  8. I've seen so many people commenting on how Freddy was a ghost on the ice… and remember Fredric just signed an 8 year $30.8 million contract with Edmonton.
    I like this Jeannot signing!!

  9. Weve got alot of small skaters, and drafted one 7 overall. Jeannot will help protect those guys as they grow. The Bs will be fighting for a playoff spot

  10. It's pretty simple yet everyone keeps beating the same dead horses to death. The Arvidsson trade was the harbinger that NONE of the big forwards were coming here. That's just the facts.
Marner, Boeser, Ehlers, and the rest just weren't signing here. It's pretty clear Marner wanted to go to Vegas. Boeser obviously didn't want to leave Vancouver despite all the noise surrounding him. Ehlers wants to go to a warmer climate and less intense city than Winnipeg … is Boston either of those? Absolutely not.
There's still a need for scoring up front, no question, but Rome wasn't built in a day, especially with pieces that didn't want to be there. The team got tougher to play against, way more physical, experienced, added leadership defensive responsibility, and a guy in Jeannot who will protect teammates, mainly the high skilled and younger players. Overpay? Yep, but it's not horrible and won't look bad under a rising cap over the next few years.
Maybe most importantly, almost all of the passengers we saw last season are gone. Seems like Beecher has been relegated to the last m.an on the depth chart and will be gone if he doesn't step it up. No gaggle of AHL lifers rounding out the lines anymore. It's the first step in the retooling and, if players flop, they can be moved fairly easily, but we should see a better team moving forward. You have to work with what's available and willing.

  11. Bruins traded away there stars . We're in a rebuilding team. We're the buffalo of 80s. Come on do u think anyone wants to sign in Boston when they traded ullmark, an Marchand . An management turns back on major talent. So if nobody wants to come to Boston get back to beating snot out of teams. Do I like this signing, price tag too heavy an term . What I do like it someone who will protect pasta

  12. Bruins may not have a play off spot, im just confused we traded all our guys ,i thought with the premis of younger kids getting their reps, and noq its just all cloged up .in my view this was a horrible free angency
