  1. Absolutely Jack. Offer sheet him 7.1mil per year (comparable to Brock Boeser's recent contract) The Hawks would give up their own 2026 1st rd pick and a 3rd rd pick, the Hawks should be done counting on landing a top 5 pick. Gavin McKenna is a lottery ticket, luck shouldn't be your plan. You kick Nazar to wing, he's 5'9.5" lets be honest, how many great teams have 2 5'9" C? Moore is a wing when the Hawks are contenders. Ryan Greene will be a 4th line C. Lets not pretend that the Hawks can't fit McTavish into their present and future lineup.

  2. Felt like the Hawks saying they're committed to Bedard & Nazar as centers was more a matter of circumstance and current roster construction than any type of permanence when any possible upgrades become available, such as a possible McTavish addition. He could be slotted in on the top line to move Bedard over to the wing, or at minimum play the 2C and allow Nazar to move to the wing.
I'd like a package of '26 1st (FLA) + Korchinski + Dickinson + Dach to get a deal done, but not sure if that would be intriguing enough or if they'd be pushing for a higher rated forward prospect over a defenseman like Korchinski. Heck, I'd throw Reichel into the deal as well 😆

  3. They’re not doing anything drastically for impacting the roster, they’re shooting for another bottom third standing. The count down for acquiring McKenna has begun for the Hawks!
