I think bringing in a young top line D will put edvinsson in byram’s situation. I don’t think he will sign long term to a second line contract. He’s talented, confident and motivated. He wants that spot.
Apparently everyone but yzerman knows we need help on defense. So….we sit there and watch as they all get signed. Brilliant.
Larkin would have to want to be traded.
Sabres fan base is wild for this one no chance we trade Larkin but it was a fun watch!

I never want Larkin to go. I want to see him retire a Red Wing. Guy’s been the hardest working player for almost a decade now. Why would anyone want to trade away a guy who loves this team and gives it his all? I’d love to see him win a cup with this team and I don’t think that’s out of the realm of possibility. I also don’t think that’s overvaluing him, with respect, I think that’s valuing him perfectly.
