  1. Seriously, he's a 4th line winger who was moved up to the 3rd line because of injuries and the mismanagement of Horvat and Miller. He's an impact player but they now have Kane and Sherwood (and Blais and Raty). Clear the space and get some speed and goal scoring. And further, Tocchet was hand picked by Allvin and he was fired for picking Miller over Horvat and Miller being subsequently unmanageable. If Allvin doesn't show progress he's gone before the end of the 25/26 season.

  2. It's simple. Van needed cap space. Joshua had an off season because of a cancer issue most males would be seriously alarmed by, followed by an injury. Toronto had the cap space to absorb the contract & Joshua, who has skill, hits a ton, is a solid guy on the PK, decent on D & has a legit offensive upside. Toronto is betting on a notable rebound by Joshua.

  3. Fitzy keep making mistakes. damn could get him for a 4th but instead we got dadonov who will fall off to babysit Grits and Brown who is regressing. Leafs making good moves.

  4. Joshua had a good contract year and a couple seasons ago the line with Blueger and Garland was the only one putting in an honest effort during the regular season after the All Star Game. Last season he came off cancer treatment and then got injured, so I was hoping to see Joshua would get a chance for a comeback season with the Canucks. The way the Canucks spend cap space like a drunken sailor, this was a thing they could do to get out of the corner they painted themselves in, but it doesn't make them a harder team to play against.

  5. This Joshua trade has me perplexed and somewhat disappointed but I don't know what's going on behind the scenes in Vancouver – maybe they know something privately that we don't know. The city just loved Joshua in the 2023-24 season, present company included! Love those gritty forwards. Blueger-Joshua-Garland line was awesome that season and if memory serves for a time there were called the best/hottest 3rd line in the league!

I don't get the rationale given that somehow Evander Kane is supposed to replace Joshua…isn't Kane's deal only for one year?! If he folds his tent after this season we won't have either and all for 4th round draft pick 3 years from now. eeeeyuck!

Toronto got a steal. There's no doubt in my mind that Joshua will have a bounce-back season as long as he's healthy and if it's a great bounceback, Toronto fans will soon be lovin' the guy. This feels like the ol' Cam Neely deal with Boston…only slightly worse! Really disappointed with this one…we didn't even give Joshua a chance for a bounceback in Vancouver.

  6. bring the lads up. you/we are not going to win the cup unless abbottsford championship players are held back.
lets go bring in the younguns.

  7. I don't know why they don't give some Abby players a chance. I know AHL isn't the same as the NHL, but Karlsson had a very good season and a great playoffs. Raty too.

  8. The next step in Vancouver's never-ending quest for mediocrity has been achieved and I'm feeling as mediocre a hockey fan as the Canucks deserve.

  9. Joshua worth a fourth rounder for the great hockey he showed us and still could have. That's a kick in the healing sack.

  10. Canucks are really gonna hate this trade. Joshua is gonna blow up in Toronto. Man should have kept him and not trade for Kane. Man so mad

  11. if you could do a 10 team no trade clause in your contract which teams would it be? I am guessing the most likely ones for actual players are going to be Columbus, Buffalo, NYIs, Anaheim, Vancouver, then who knows. If I was good enough to be that picky I would pick Carolina, LAK, NYIs, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary. Maybe Seattle? I think the rest of the teams even if I don't like them, I respect them enough to play on them. However, if any team offered me a 1 day contract I would take it! Edmonton here I come to take over McDavid's spot when he doesn't resign. Draft lottery the next year guaranteed.

  12. Ya can't want an upgrade at 2C and then be upset that we move 3mil for space. Joshua is good but he's not make or break.

  13. I don’t believe Treliving is done tweaking the roster-he has time left to change the ‘DNA’.Now that Shanahan isn’t around to hand cuff the GM,I believe we will see further examples of tougher players coming in.

  14. What is Vancouver doing?! They essentially replace a young player who is still growing with an older player that already peaked, has a well documented history of being "an issue" that never put it together when the chips were down. I would have a raised eyebrow even if this replacement was made around the trade deadline and I am a Canucks fan! 🧡💛🧡

  15. those American names- you never know whether it's male or female, Dakota Fanning ( female ), Dakota Joshua ( male ), Kelly Olynyk ( male ) , Kelly Clarkson ( female )…

  16. More hockey fantasy videos pls! I’m really trying to understand how it works, I’m still new to it
