Personally would like to see a trade with Chicago for Riechel and a switch of late round picks
You know your in the doldrums of summer when even SDPN is covering Chinakhov wanting traded. The amount of stuff they got wrong was honestly a little hilarious but at least they are kinda positive on Columbus unlike a lot of outside pundits.
Honestly though, Chinahkov has been waffling on the trade line with us for awhile. I can understand how hes frustraded by not getting ice time but he came back at the worst possible time and was actively bad. I'd rather keep him and see him earn his top 6 spot (he'd be way better than Jenner if he's firing on all cylinders) but he seems a bit too temperamental. I think people outside of Columbus are making a bigger deal out of this than it is.

Don't blame Dean For Scratching him if he wasn't gonna be happy down the stretch with Vronny and Silly on the 3rd! Not sure Why as that on paper was a pretty good 3rd line! (Didn't see my Boy Vronny Crying and crashing out About Being there and Playing with AHL'ers after starting the first half of the season on a 70ish point Pace😉🫣) Much like Dubois and Laine, I say Good Riddance!! Also, Laine Didn't demand until after the Draft and like a week before Free Agency! But We Couldn't trade him! I remember His Agent kept telling Don from the Time he Got Hired In May that it would be Days before Laine would leave the "Program" and then Laine demanded a Trade at the End of June but We Couldn't talk to him or other Teams About him because He was in the "Program" which he didn't leave until July 27th or so which was almost a month after free agency started! So he basically tanked any chance of a good hockey deal Don could've made! We Finally Traded him for Peanuts in Mid August! And Laine doing that made me forever Hate Him! And I liked Him😢
PS $5 Million for Rakell is a Steal for 70 points and 35 Goals😘😂 I'd throw in Our 2027 1st Round Pick to get him maybe alittle less for McTavish or Rossi😉 We Have To Do Something to solidify that Top 6 and to keep Our Hopeful Nightmare for other Teams 3rd Line Of Boone, Olivier and Coyle together!! I've been Dreaming about it😂
