  1. He was low coming in to the hit to raise up and also he looks the other way as if it's no big deal I just passing through, it's one thing to say the player hit wasn't paying attention to brace it but that player was dealing with another player a moment before it's dirty

  2. I don't think it's clean but I dont think it's multiple games either. Thompson is 6 foot 7 though. So even reaching for a puck he was not that low. Sabres needed to do something. I don't think it's the kind of thing to answer for a whole game, but just some action would allow for people to have one less thing to complain about. This is 2011 all over again

  3. I think dirty, but also unintentional.. tage was half tripping half reaching while spinning 180. If he didn't stumble off the downed devil, this is a monster, but most likely legal hit. It's still a penalty, and I still believe the major was a good call, as we don't want to see players get hit in the head like that, legal or not, but I don't think a suspension should be required here.

But as a sabres fan, the lack of any kind of fire after that is infuriating 🤬 (while cooler headed now, in the moment it LOOKED dirty, and the sabres responded by GETTING SCORED ON SHORT HANDED)

  4. honestly, as a devils and sabres fan, Noeson shouldn't have done that to Thompson. I was at the game, and everyone was pissed that the sabres didn't do anything to stand up for Thompson

  5. Asking if this is a “clean or dirty” hit on this video is one of the most moronic things I’ve seen in a while. Whether it was intentional or not, it’s the player’s responsibility to ensure they’re finishing their check through the players body…not driving their shoulder directly across an opposing player’s jaw.

  6. I was at the game im a sabres fan that was dirty from the angle I saw but its embarrassing that nobody dropped the gloves to stand up for Thompson what Zucker said made me mad he said he didn't see the hit and didn't want to get a 2 a 5 and a 10 minute penalty and a couple game suspension
