The NHL Schedule came out yesterday!
The New Jersey Devils 2025-26 schedule is here.
The NJ Devils once again drew some bad luck in this department. They will play a league high 15 back-to-back games. OUCH!
The Devils will also only face the Rangers and Flyers three times each.
I think the NHL is really dropping the ball here.

Hudson River Rivalry just got revived and the league puts an immediate halt to raw bloodthirsty hockey. Gonna be a fun March. Gonna be a long wait till March.

I miss how much teamed used to play their division rivals. It kept the playoff races tight and tense
If the team doesn't make it into the play-offs, it's down to a lot of things, but not the game plan.

There should be an NHL rule..if you are playing back to back, the back to back team can't travel unless the other team is traveling too. Gotta be fair with this…because hockey is a very physically demanding sport. I get these guys are professional athletes, but they're still only human. I have played hockey and I know after a game, you are typically beat up a little bit

My guess is that the NHL thinks NJ will play a division rival like the Rangers in playoffs… Then you have 2 Kraken games & Mammoth.. idk. I would have done 1 of each those teams, give the extra to Rangers and Flyers games. Imo some of these western conference teams, I don’t care to see more than once if they don’t really know each other.

We always have a ton of back to backs! I remember the Patrick division days we played our rivals like 6 or 7 times. Palat still here? 🤦♂️
