Given circumstances, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a breakout year at BC this fall. It’s harder to jump from prep school than from NTDP where you’re playing NCAA and international competition regularly.
Rooting for the kid. Im sure hes heard the criticism, hope he channels it. Potential is there for sure
Dean, who are you gonna beat up first when you crack the pro line up ? Maybe Rag Doll Brad Marchand, Awesome plan !
Sweeney saw something in this kid so he should hold his hat on that and use it to motivate him to get his game to the next level. The kid is big like Mathews so if he can take it to the next level that would be awesome. Fan base of course is plugging for him.
Bs really need this kid to eventually become a solid top-6 guy. Hopefully, he'll breakout in his second year at BC.
Never rush talent at a young age…You’ll spoil the broth…Dean Létourneau has the right Deoxyribonucleic Acid to mature and play well.
what a joke….
keep the Bs swag……youll never make it
He looks like a young wreck it Ralph 😂
Of course we are all pulling for the kid, but I gotta see results. If I laid an egg my Freshman year in college, I would be working with a skating coach and a strength and conditioning coach in the offseason, showing up looking like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky 4. Remember watching Cam working out with Mike Boyle while he was rehabbing his knee? That's what I wanna see.
I would also add that this kid may be more of a right wing at the NHL level than a center. Why not try pairing him with Hagen's in some preseason games and see if James can help jump start the kids game? They might someday be playing together on the big club in a few years.
