  1. You guys don't know understand when Bedard came to the Blackhawks it was the start of rebuild the Hawks prospects core getting built is starting to get to the NHL and Levshunov was start pick for the Blackhawks enough with question a rebuild that is now in year 3 and half .

  2. 1:38 It looks like the Blackhawks have a lot of work to do to add quality players, whether youth or vets, to that team. Yet on the NHL roster, I count, among players, no younger than 30:
    – 8 of 12 forwards
    – 1 of 6 defencemen not on injured reserve
    – one of two goalies

None of those players Blackhawks have under contract, if buried in the minors, are older than 27, and all but one are younger than 25. Among players under contract to the Preds via:
    – their NHL roster, I count, among players in their 30s or older, five of 11 forwards, three of eight defensemen and one of two goalies
    – minor-league affiliates and teams in other hockey leagues, one of 12 forwards and one of seven defencemen, but neither goaltender
