Jeannot's contract allows him to move up and down with no waiver worries, Belesky all over again. Arvidsson wont play 70 games (youth will fill the missing games). I don't understand why Beecher was extended. It'll be an entertaining slide to the bottom and the young guys are going to get their reps.
I’m not mad at the jeannot signing … the team lacks physicality , we have so many young smaller players now can’t get pushed around like we did end of last season
If I remember correctly Dallas has the least (or close to the least) amount of cap space going into the off-season. The Blumel situation might not have underlying issues and they might just not have enough to afford him ? Idk I could definitely be wrong about this
Im with you on Jeannot, too long contract! But with the cap going up it will be less of an issue for each year. He has no clauses so we can trade him in a few years if we want. The thing I like about these signings is that we didn´t sign anyone really not good for top dollar.

I suppose by having all these fourth line type guys, the young players in theory when in the line up should play on a higher line.

Blumel said he didn’t wanna sign in Dallas again, that’s why he walked out.
