Jasper Philipsen Crash Ends His Tour de France 2025 In Stage 3

Jasper Philipsen Crash Ends His Tour de France 2025 In Stage 3

And the sprint now starts on the left hand side as Philipsson’s leadout train tried to bring him up onto the wheel of Jonathan Milan. Kaden Groves is the rider is trying to lead him out. Gay is a bit Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Philips crashes. The green jersey is down. Jonathan Milan goes through now. He wins the sprint, but behind we hope that Yasper Philipsson is okay. Oh, that’s not good news. Hard crash there. He looks in lots and lots of pain. From joy to despair in the flash of a second. Yasper Philipsson, the green jersey, the first yellow jersey of this race is left lying in the grass at the side of the road with his green jersey in Tatas and potentially his dream of continuing in the tour to France on a knife edge. See when the rider from uh Inter Mare, he’s tried to it out. A little bit of turning around there. Just a slight second of touching the brakes. Oh, there he goes. Kokard clipped out. Looks like the two riders took their hit their bars. Kokar doesn’t seem too bothered. Here we go again. He did. moves across to the right hand side and hits Bars. Yeah, he didn’t look. Oh, Philipsson hits the ground so hard.

An intermediate sprint in Stage 3 of the Tour de France 2025 turned disastrous for Jasper Philipsen, who bumped handlebars with Bryan Coquard and immediately hit the ground, shredding the green jersey he’d earned as the early points leader.

After winning Stage 1 and taking the yellow jersey, Philipsen’s TDF 2025 is over. #TDF

  1. Coquard drifted out, hit the rider outside him, then bounced back inside and hit Jasper! He caused this, plain and simple! These things happen in match sprints, but he had plenty of room to maneuver! There was no reason for him to drift out!

  2. Un coup d'épaule sur un cycliste qui transmet un coup de coude du cycliste sur Jasper qui tombe. Un accident de travail des coureurs cyclistes.

  3. I'm a fan of Jasper's talent, not so much his normal behavior. He didn't deserve that just as Degenkolb certainly didn't deserve to have Phillipsen cause him to crash in Roubaix (2023). Degenkolb would have very likely won that race.

  4. Looks like that guy on the right gave that rider an elbow for getting too close which sent him into the green jersey.

  5. Coquard is sprinting,he moves right to overtake the cyclist in front of him, touches the rider on his right and pulls back,in pulling back he hits Philippsen.
    Genuine accident.

  6. Hard to really say as Theuns seemed to throw his left shoulder into Coquard, which began the effect of throwing Coquard into Jasper. But some might even argue Coquard forced himself into Theuns line? At the end of the day, this is sometimes just bicycle racing. Very subjective in all reality. They ended up penalizing both, so it is what it is.

  7. Jasper has built a rotten reputation for his dangerous riding. It's unfortunate that he was injured. He's not without blame, due to his past contributions to dangerous riding to win. He, most of all should acknowledge the danger, heal up and keep it moving.

  8. The overhead shot reminds me of a load of sperms swimming for the egg. 😂😂😂😂 🇬🇧

  9. A yellow card for Coquard is not fair. Ok he's responsible for Philipsen's crash, but was obliged to deviate because of Milan's change of line. And as far as I'm concerned Milan didn't get a yellow card…

  10. Numer 163 COQUARD Bryan lost its trajectory and sank into no. 45 (REX Laurenz). So ,this action was generated by Cofidis man.
