Jordan Kyrou is not a good trade for Montreal. It's not a good fit especially with his cap hit. I think Slafkovsky will get to 70 points.
Shaun Starr, doing a weekly recording and splitting it in 5 or 6 segments puts you behind the daily news. Therefore your channel is not growing compared to other Habs channels.

He is 35 in three months, and 4 years on his contract, that would block the youth
Honestly…I am not convinced that we absolutely must get help this year or else. Unless they believe that we have a good chance to win the Cup this year, there is no reason to get a top six guy, especially if it means trading away key developing players and prospects that will likely provide a payoff in 2-3 years. For example, if Hage is ready at this point next year, it is potentially a game changer that puts the Habs over the edge. We don't need to rush to get Kyrou or Kadri or Kuznetsov or any other player that begins with K, or any other player….WHAT ABOUT THIS: If there is such a center shortage, maybe center training and development is the problem? Maybe whatever team that figures out how to manufacture centers is the team that wins? Why not focus on coaching and coaching technique instead of specific players that exist? Sounds like innovation is required.

Dach is neither a 2c, nor a top-6 winger. Bolduc will be 2LW. Newhook 3c. Blais on the energy line… Which means we're trading: Laine, Dach, Matheson, and probably some later draft picks (post-rebuild) for a 2c.

Now that Montreal has acquired Joe Velino, will they try to slot him in as a 2C? Are the Canadiens done and ready for the season? How does this impact the guys in Laval? So many exciting questions and answers to play out. It seems like Nazem Kadri and Sidney Crosby are out of the conversation finally. I hope those rumours die quickly.

As usual, great assortment of comments from our great fans. I do agree the Habs are in a great position to wait for the right deal just like they did with Dobson. In the meantime, can someone please breakdown the mystery that is Kirby Dach? Outside of injuries, what’s the deal? He’s got great size and has skill as reflected by his 3rd overall draft selection. Why should the Habs not do everything in their power to shine up this diamond?
I think the canadiens front office are the most dangerous and effective in the NHL. And crazy enough I believe in it. The way they're making it happen, the way they're doing it… Is like nothing I've seen in almost 45 years

It is over for Kirby Dach. They can give him another year. If he does anything you can probably trade him. Center with size, high draft pick in a bad draft.
Wow Joe Veleno for $900,000. Is he better than Dach? Probably.
Dach is probably the 23rd 24th best guy from that 2019 draft in a group with Newhook, Tomasino, Brink and Hoglander. None of these guys are terrible.
Dach was showing he could be that guy before he ran into the knee injuries. His surgery didn't work maybe this one does ,you have to give him a couple months
