No killer instinct. Starts from the top. I love my Stars, and always will, but facts are facts. Fans need to SEE the fire from the coach. There isnt any. Fans need to SEE fire from the Captain. There isnt any. Jim Nill has won more personal awards than the team has. The last 3 WCFs have been mirror images. Keep banging your head against a wall and hope it cracks. No in-game adjustments. No between game adjustments. Its like watching a re-run. Its frustrating. Edmonton doesnt have any more "depth" than Dallas. Quit listening to ESPN "know it alls". Most are Canadian homers anyway. If Pete has any spine he'll sit Marchment and Benn the rest of the series and start committing to REAL zone entries without dump and chasing. That and the ENTIRE team needs to wake up like they have a gun up to their head. Seriously man, 3 YEARS of stacked rosters falling in the 3rd round to inferior teams.

If we make this happen and claw our way to a Cup Final match up, then I'll concede. If not, DeBoer needs to go. This pennyanny style of non-aggressive, opportunistic hockey isn't going to carry us to a Cup. DeBoer commented on the "culture of mediocrity" when he came in but has only changed that culture to "close but no cigar". We have a good team. I'll admit we have some injuries right now but what team doesn't this far into the playoffs? We need grit, not excuses. Read this ownership and see the truth.

Been through too much as a fan of this team. I just wanna get back to the final. Producers not producing. It’s not enough with only our 4th line having a good forecheck. Every line BUT the 4th line has been lackluster.

I've nothing personal against Pete Deboer however, I'm kind of sick of hearing about the perfect record in game 7's while nobody ever mentions that he's 0-6 in the Conference Finals his last 6 playoff appearances.
It is very impressive to reach the Conference Finals 6 times in a row, although with 3 different teams, but you've got to break through to the Finals at some point! Seriously, what are the Stars supposed to do next year, just roll out the exact same thing and do it all over again? This is 3 straight years we've been here and failed, you have to try something different!
