  1. A 24 yr old player for a 38 yr old player! A win, win for the Leafs, especially if Henry can crack the lineup, on a regular basis, with a positive impact on defense?

  2. Ryan, it wasn't a lack of trust buddy, you're not good enough to play in the NHL if you're not beating people up and laying big hits.

You're a novelty and never important to the team or fans.

I understand people didn't want to fight you and that's respect but you lacked the speed and tenacity to force people into fighting you, you added chaos to the game without impacting it positively.

It's a miracle the Leafs didn't have to pay someone to take Reeves.

Jesus Christ man just enjoy the hot weather, stop acting like you were hard done by the Leafs, your lack of skill and inability to lay enough big hits cut you from the team.

  3. Firstly, get these Americans out of the Six Asap. Why the hell is a city like Toronto signing others??????if irritates me.
This season is gonna be so sad. Believe it or not Marner was the heart and soul of the team. He is going to be a huge(and I mean HUGE)loss. Whoever thought this was Austin Team is gonna beg for Marner this upcoming season. Austin is a bust in playoffs just like Mitchy. But Mitchy did everything. He was the reason Austin got his goals. Watch Austin goals from last season. 90 percent came from Mitchy.
Been a leaf fan my whole life and I’m no spring chicken. This team will not be improved this year unless we see a big signing. And this kid is not a Stanley cup piece that’s for sure. Good riddens leafs. I thought I might see you win a cup in my lifetime but I see the down years coming.

  4. If he gets his puck skills up to the NHL level, he might be a diamond in the rough. I won't expect too much, but I hope for the best outcome.
