  1. Ekitike will go to Chelsea or Liverpool and they can pay the big wages we can't. I'd rather we kept Isak and lose out on Ekitike if it is either or. Other options out there to back Isak up. I did get excited at the prospect of both playing together but that's the game.

  2. People are mentally weak. This whole “power play” narrative is absolute garbage. If anything, Newcastle are the ones making moves…Isak is not for sale, they have kept their powder dry for a couple of windows and are now bidding for top strikers to come in to compliment Isak. Chill 😎

  3. Obvious they’d come in for him – Liverpool – bcos they’ve done that a lot to us. First with Gakpo, then Nunez we got Isak instead, then Szoboszlai we got tonali, then chased Isak. Before chased Gordan.. . Years ago they took Enrique, wjnaldum and Caroll of us.,, so they have a tendency to do that. I believe they do have money but not the amount needed for Isak. That’s the thing. So they looking for something a little cheaper. Jota now gone. Nunez unflavoured – so they badly need a centre forward and will do owt to get one.
Frankfurt always dangle the carot. They always advertise him then keep him, that’s to get more money for a high demand player! It’s tactics. They aren’t daft. I highly doubt we will sign a striker for that amount!

  6. You won 1 trophy in 70 years a Carabao cup sit down shut up and know your place Newcastle fans especially you True Geordie

  7. Newcastle simply won't sell Isak this summer with 3 years left on his deal, unless it's a ridiculous offer. Liverpool have only offered £120m, which is absolutely nowhere near the amount required (£150m-£200m) to tempt Newcastle. Isak will stay at Newcastle this summer, and if Liverpool move for Ekitike, they'll get him.

  8. Imagine saying sell us isak or we will buy hugo 😂😂😂😂😂 and think your winning

  9. Club to club talks are already happening. Isak will inform Newcastle he wants to sign for Liverpool.

  10. In my opinion you don't spend 70 mil plus on a player who is probably gonna be on the bench if Isak is still there. Ekiteke goes to Liverpool and he's a starter for them. So Newcastle are buggered either way. I can't see Ekiteke being 2nd to Isak especially if Liverpool are genuinely interested and are attempting to pressure Newcastle out of a deal

Then on the other hand, if you're telling me that Isak to Liverpool could happen then out of the two I'd take Isak any day. Newcastle will know that there's interest and for big money. So do you keep your star asset and try to keep up with the other top teams? Or do you sell your asset and use the money to rebuild every weak area and make a proper push for the league and in Europe also?

  11. This could be a brilliant tactic by Newcastle to keep Isak.

Go in for Ekitike. If they get him great, but if they don’t and he goes to Liverpool instead, it guarantees Liverpool aren’t getting Isak- ever.

  12. I don't get how it's a power play given basically Liverpool have one or the other, and we have one or the other? If Ekitike prefers Liverpool for higher wages etc then I wouldn't want him anyway as he and his agent have played that game before. Also, if Liverpool were to get Isak they'd definitely be paying more than £120m (or it would be up front and not in instalments, which is a big deal) which means Ekitike plus other players – whichever way this works out i'm happy. £85m for Ekitike for one good season in the Bundesliga doesn't sit with me.

  13. Arsenal fans take note. See how Liverpool link themselves with Isak AFTER making an actual bid? Not like you sorry idiots down at Chelsea Reject FC.

  14. Wissa & Isak both scored 19 none penalty goals last season, people need to calm down. Mbappe scored 32 league goals last season btw.

  15. Should Alexander Isak only leave Newcastle if they cannot meet his sporting ambitions and financial expectations?

Can Liverpool meet Alexander Isak’s sporting ambitions and financial expectations?

  16. Tell Liverpool we'll talk about Isak if they step aside and don't interrupt with our attempt to sign Ekitike – Go get Ekitike then tell Liverpool to do one…

  17. I really, really hope we don't lose Isak. If the last couple of windows have proven anything, Newcastle find it difficult to bring the top players. If another 'Big 6' club comes sniffing in we barely stand a chance. If we were to sell Isak, I think we would struggle to bring quality back in an effective timeframe.

  18. LFC fan here: I want to see Newcastle challenge at the highest level, it would be great to see a new Northern giant join the ranks of the other dominant NW clubs… to do that they simply cannot be letting their quality players go… LFC lose players but have the depth and the brand as a club to lose Trent and attract others … Newcastle don’t. They lose players and they drop in level… there is still a long way to go for the Mags to level up an Isak sale makes it an uphill slog.

As for me? I trust our owners and recruiters. If we don’t get Isak we will get someone just as good to develop.
To be Frank; with Wirtz, Salah, MacAlister, Diaz with Kerkez and Frimpong on the wings I think even Andy Carol would hit 25 goals in a season!😂

  19. He thinks isak will be worth more next season with only 2 years left on his contract, I would go for ekitke as he costs less and is younger and has the potential to be bigger than isak, true geordie must not understand the price goes down with less years on his contract, Liverpool were linked with ekitke straight after wirtz deal so it's not like Liverpool are all of the sudden stealing him lol if you rate isak at £150 million then give him a contact like £300 thousand a week, true geordie says isak has already done it, done what win the carling Cup lol if isak want to have any chance of winning the big trophies then he needs to join Liverpool or Manchester City or possibly Chelsea as he won't win then at Newcastle and Newcastle need to get money in to sort out their psr problem

  20. what you paid is irrelevant, £120 is overprivecd just like he was when you bought him. Grealish def overpriced but you pay what selling club want or you dont!Like we overpaid for Darwin. But you have all the power. If you dont want to sell you wont sell so nothing to worry about. Shocked we have been doing this, never remember us spend like this. 120 is not joke but you have all the power. you wont get that in another year though. We just asking the question, like its happened to us many a times. But you might get more. Just dont think we be consistenly being linked to him if we havent had some conversation. From the news we wont offer unless Newcaslte give a green light
Not all about the fee though either, your wage structure might hurt ye here. If you made him your best paid player, still only maybe 150 a week? Will Ekitike want to play second fiddle to Isak though, no way you playing both up front, just dont see it! might be a concern for him

  21. 5.20 is exactly why we should sign ekitike now. Sign him now and future proof for the loss of Isak to PSG or Barca next summer. Under no circumstance should he be sold to a PL rival

  22. Liverpool have been linked with Ekitike for months. One of their strikers died of course they are looking for someone. Can’t expect Newcastle to have a run at him unchallenged.
