  1. I just hope the Hockey God's bless us after this nightmare. I believe Nate Danielson is going to great for the Wings.

  2. I had hoped Montreal would draft Zadina instead of Koko. Shows how good I am at picking talent.

  3. I never thought he was that good and he really just wasn't. Back to Czechia and see if there a job open with Jaromir Jager's team. Maybe old Jaromir can fix what's wrong with Filipo's game before he too old try again in the NHL. He comes from a fairly wealthy family so he won't go hungry even after leaving all that Red Wing money on the table.

  4. Maybe the luck they got with late all star picks Zetterberg and Datsyuk decided it was time to pay up. Luck be a fickle lady that night. 😎

  5. Cool Ive been waiting to see someone do a video on Zadina!
    👍

It’s kinda sad because he really had determination he just couldn’t make it in the NHL.

  6. Yet another example for fans of why you don't over value NHL experience in young prospects, he spent next to no time in the AHL and when he did it was in stints, bouncing up and down. Give them consistency and time to build their confidence and learn life skills off the ice before you force them into into the show. If you are a fan, be careful what you wish for when you want to let the kids play, the red wings let him play, and handed him a role every step of the way hoping he would figure it out, and he never elevated his game.

  7. Quinn Hughes was never an option for the Wings. Bouchard was the pick KH wanted until Zadina fell. Brad Galli reported KH told Hughes Detroit would not draft him.

  8. zadina could be a great ahl first liner , he should humble himself and settle fora league min in the ahl and prove he can at least be a effective 4th liner.

  9. Sharks fan here. Zadina is a good hockey player. His problem is his high end skills aren’t high enough to be a top 6 player. And he’s not really gritty enough for a bottom 6 role. He got every opportunity in SJ on a very weak team…and it just seems like his ceiling is a 25pt player.

  10. he just signed with the best club in switzerland and im delighted about it he gonna bless us with his skills

  11. I mean, there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with him, except his skill set doesn’t produce the numbers in today’s NHL. Not a true bust, just a failure of scouting.

  12. I don't know how true it is, but I was reading online that he's kind of lazy and that contributes to his lack of production. In my opinion, this is just a total failure by the scouting department. To be honest, it seems like the NHL has a lot of really bad scouts right now, I wonder why that is?
