I don't understand bringing back Carcone. We now have 24 players on 23-man roster. So at least one player will have to go and maybe as many as two (if Simashev makes the team, which he will) or even three (if But makes the team).
What North American with any conscience goes to play in Russia? Disgraceful.
Nazem Kadri is a legit 1 Line Center and his contract is extremely LOW 7m 🎉🎉🎉🎉he carried the calgar team on his back last year.
Love to see kadri go to the Habs, we will give up reinbacher, Laine and a 2nd next year.
Leafs don't have cap space for Kadri as the 5th line center behind Matthews, Tavares, Roy, Laughton, Kampf and will be 35 in October.
Don't sleep on the Utah Mammoth, they will be the surprise team of the season,IMHO.
Montreal should get kadri for dach, 2 2nd round picks, and a prospect
Kadri definitely wouldnt block a trade back to the Leafs, he loved being a Leaf, his problem was he loved it too much and he acted on emotions at times which honestly I never minded. Also, everyone who wanted him gone in the Leafs org, is now gone themselves so there shouldnt be any bad blood left over by Kadri. Lets also not forget that the guy who signed Kadri to CGY is now GM of the Leafs… CGY has to show they are willing to trade with Tree though as they clearly havent before.
