Honestly I think the team is going to be more interesting to watch. After 9 seasons of watching Marner I do believe he is an amazing player and he is a joy to watch. However, I feel like he was overused in too many situations. To the point where it became a bit repetitive. It was easy for really talented defensemen like Hedman and Ekblad to shut him down because, while he is swift and skilled, he won't be able to out muscle you. The new look lineup could have anyone chipping in. And maybe with a little more ice time some players will show off some talent or chemistry or aggression we didn't get to see because the leafs have been the Marner Show for so long.
