makar is an absolute stud, the most mobile defensmen in the league in my opinion and has an underrated shot. one of my favourite player. futur norris winner!
You could argue whether or not he’s the best defenseman in the league or not but he’s certainly the most skilled

Hes good but I'd take miro heiskanen . Not as offensive but he's not a liability like makar is playing defense . Makar can't shut down mcdavid like miro can

I just bought my Makar jersey after he signed for 6 more years. It was a special moment when my Dad and I travelled to Vegas a few years ago and watched the Avs play in the fortress. I'll never forget that trip and Makar scored his first regular season goal that game!

Greenway is still looking for that puck. Man, Makar is fantastic and still so so young.
Hedman is still the best dman in the league. Maker still needs to develop more defensive awareness and well, become better defensively. I can agree that he is slightly better offensively than Hedman, but Hedman is still the best dman in the league.
Makar and Heiskanen Will battle for the Norris for the next decade
The amount of highlight reel play this kid has had in just 2 seasons is unreal. Hopefully he's got at least 15 more seasons.
Now rewatch the video and just watch the angles of his skates. I honestly think he's the best hockey skater I've ever seen.
