i I wrote about this two weeks ago at the early part of the season they made a serious inquiry to Boston about Jeremy Swayman um just to see what the options were but I was told it was it was pretty decent pretty like they were serious about it stan was said was it didn’t obviously go anywhere but they were certainly looking at at alternative options here i think they’re comfortable right now but let’s see how the next few games go in terms of Stu’s performance

Personally a few years ago I thought Oilers should've made a move for John Gibson, barring what the Ducks would want in return.
Instead we live in a universe where bostin traded marchand to our cup final nemesis and we're juggling goalies

Swayman is nothing special
Swayman pulled the old fasty. Big year on a contract year, played his hearty out. Then got his big contract and term and he is far from a starter or a consistent goaltender. Oilers would be fools to trade for him.
No goalie will save that defense, bouchard and Nurse are awful
the last time Edmonton got a goalie from Boston, they won the cup….Ranford's numbers were ok: 29G 15 -8 -2 3.50 .877, then won Cup following year
They can have any of the best Goaltender in their net, and they’ll still never have a cup because their defense and shutdown game is so terribly weak when it’s most important….
I would work on the defense first before the goalie

Don’t give up on Skinner. You have to understand that he is still very young and has lots of potentials. He has two Stanley cup finals experiences and lots of playoffs experiences. Bobroski had a rough start too and look at him now
How did Swayman do this year? Worse than Skinner or Pickard.
