As a man from Northern Ireland it’s refreshing to hear Paul talk about the past and how we as a country have grew bounds and now hosting such global events. Makes me proud to say I’m from here and from the north west causeway area. Golf is great for our island north and south and long may it continue and continue to grow.
Nice to hear Paul here but alas they are playing in part of the world that only last weekend lit bonfires and partied in a fevered hatred of Catholics. It amazes me how Rory McIlory and others have flourished despite the troglodyte tendencies of the loyalist populace
I hope the rules official doesn’t call slow play warning on the last day of the Open on players ahead of Rory, this was absolutely wrong last week, these officials should be fired.

Ill take a guess about the amount of McIlroys this or he's that background comments which will appear below. its all irrelevant. I am from a nationalist area and we host any amount of Clubs from areas deemed "the other side", most people couldn't care less about coming to where we are for the match (but most of them enjoy calling their Provisional ball's "Provo's" for some reason :)) A lot of the teams we play, (like ourselves) are made up from people of both sides and we have a laugh and a pint when its all over and done with. Some times we play people who aren't very nice but where they go to church or whether they or British or Irish has little to do with that.
